This luxury 4-star Bed & Breakfast chalet is situated on a sunny terrace in the picturesque village of Lens. Overlooking the impressive Rhône Valley, the family-run Chalet des Alpes is just a 5-minute walk away from the village centre.
The chalet is situated 10 minutes drive from the town and ski area of Crans Montana. Walking & mountain bike paths start from the chalet door.
All 5 bedrooms are furnished to a high standard. Each room has a private shower & WC, magnificent mountain views and feature flat-screen TVs with DVD, an alarm clock radio with IPod dock and complimentary tea/coffee making facilities.
Free Wi-Fi is available in the entire Chalet des Alps.
Evening meals are available most nights but need to be ordered in advance.
There is a panoramic dining area with a comfortable guest lounge and open fire in the winter. There is also a large sunny balcony for all guests to use.
In summer, swim in crystal clear lakes or take the lift up to the Plaine Morte Glacier at 3000 metres. Zermatt, Lake Geneva, Gruyeres and many other exciting places can be easily reached from Chalet des Alpes.
There are indoor / outdoor pools and wellness facilities nearby in Crans Montana.

Walking and Mountain Bike Paths start from the Chalet door. Lots of fantastic walks in the area. Please ask for suggestions and maps. In summer, swim in crystal clear lakes or take the lift up to the Plaine Morte Glacier at 3000 metres. Crans Montana has lots of shops, restaurants, swimming pools, spa & wellness facilities. The Ski Area and Mountain Cable Car is only a 10 minute drive from here. Chalet des Alpes is in the traditional picturesque Swiss mountain village of Lens. With a ski area of over 140 km this makes Crans Montana one of the premier ski resorts in Switzerland.

Nearest Train Station : Sion at 15 kilometers distance
Nearest Town : Crans Montana at 5 kilometers distance
Travel Info: From Geneva Airport: Flights into Geneva are available from most International Airports and are served by many low-cost airlines. By train. There is a regular service direct to Sion Station. Tickets can be booked on-line with SBB or you can use RailEurope. There are several rail and bus passes available. If booking a ticket on-line or through RailEurope you need to buy a ticket from Geneva Airport to Sion Station. The cost is approx. CHF 120 return. The station platforms are below the arrivals hall at Geneva Airport. There are approx. 2 trains an hour and the journey takes just over 2 hours. It is a very scenic ride along Lake Geneva and through the Rhône Valley. There is a regular bus service from Sion to Lens. By car. Just over 2 hours (170km) from Geneva Airport. Most of this is easy motorway driving, with the last 20 minutes being up good mountain roads. We recommend using your own car or hiring one. The cost of car hire is only slighly higher than using the train, and it will give you so much more flexibility and the chance to explore the other fantastic places this area has to offer.

From May to October we can offer "Walking Holidays". The Chalet can be hired for sole use, special events, family birthdays or anniversaries. We can arrange flexible catering and Gala dinners. Everything is possible @ Chalet des Alpes. Just Ask!!
