Vacation Rental Description
Large, comfortable apartment on second floor of a chalet of 9 apartments in a central position within the lovely village of Château-d'Oex in the Swiss Alps. It has a large south facing sunny balcony with views over the village and the mountains. There are three bedrooms so there is plenty of room for up to 6 people. The open plan arrangement of the kitchen, dining room and living room gives a feeling of spaciousness, and the log fires create a cosy atmosphere on snowy days. We use the apartment regularly ourselves so we keep it well equipped.
Within the chalet itself there is a ski-room for storing skis and sledges during your stay, laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and games room with table-tennis table – table-tennis bats and balls are available in the apartment for guests to use. There are parking spaces outside the chalet, and a private box garage that can be used if required. There is also a large free car park adjacent to the chalet.
