Notes on prices
Weekly rental prices include local management services and utilities, although a surcharge for excess electricity and heating usage may be levied or where utility prices rise excessively. Linen provision and cleaning (at end of stay) are not included in the rental price, and are paid locally to the local manager. Tourist taxes of CHF1.80 pppn (CHF0.90 for child 6 to 18) is payable directly to the local tourist office.
Changeover day
Saturday to Saturday, unless otherwise agreed with the owners. Arrival between 4pm and 8pm and departure by 10am, unless otherwise agreed with the owners and local manager.
Booking Notes
Enquiries and bookings are handled directly with the owners. Bookings only confirmed upon receipt of a signed rental agreemeent together with the rental payment and a surety deposit of CHF500 by bank transfer. Rental payment is non refundable and holiday cancellation insurance is recommended.

Since we purchased the apartment in the spring of 2007, we have been very lucky to have received many guests from all over the world, all of whom have marvelled at what Champex has to offer. One Swiss family love the apartment so much that they rent it every winter for the whole season.

We really did have a great - we love the lake and all the walks in Verbier and Grand St Bernard...and the boat trip in Geneva was great, very relaxing.

'We enjoyed the hiking at Champex. Our kids loved the boats on the lake -- both the paddle boats and the row boats. Marney and I both run and we loved running the trails and we also enjoyed using the vita par cours around the lake. Stunning panoramic mountain and lake views - a holiday home for all seasons and reasons
Residence ‘Le Grand Combin’, situated on the edge of the pretty lac de Champex, was originally a Victorian hotel and in 2007 was totally renovated to provide 8 apartments. The village and its amenities is a relaxed 5 minute stroll along the lake and the ski lift, which is open for most of the year and has a large car park, is a 2 minute drive. The St Bernard Express bus from Osieres stops right outside the building.
‘Apartment Le Grand Combin ‘ has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with an internal floor area of 123sqm and 18sqm of balcony, providing stunning views over Les Grand Combins, Mont Blanc Massif, Lac de Champex and Les Dents du Midi. The south and east facing aspect of the property provides natural light from dawn to dusk making the open living space a bright and warm area. There is parking immediately both outside and inside the building, with lift access direct to the apartment. Local skiing is excellent with 25km of pistes and extensive off piste. By car, Verbier can be reached in 30 mins, Chamonix in 45 mins and Villars in 1 hour.
Champex Lac enjoys a unique setting, situated on a lake at 1,500 metres nestled between the foothills of the mountains around the Trient glacier, part of the Mont Blanc area and the totally isolated Catogne. Some 19 km from Martigny and 9 km from Osieres, this beautiful and tranquil family resort, is only 1.5 hours drive from Geneva. There is a frequent daily bus service to and from Osieres, where a connection by train can be made to Martigny. For a full appreciation of the area and ease of access, a car is recommended.
