Gubblyckan is a modern cottage with a beautiful child friendly garden solitary situated on a meadow close to the forest. The distance to the nearest neighbour is approx. 200 m.

The cottage is for couples or families; whether you wish a peaceful, relaxing holiday or one packed full of activity – canoeing, rowing, fishing, skiing, walking, swimming, bicycle riding – the list is endless.

This spacious 140sqm house maintains a high standard and is suitable for all-the-year-round housing. The large rural kitchen on the ground floor is well equipped with stove/oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, etc. On the same floor there are two large bedrooms with double beds, a bathroom with a shower and a WC as well as a laundry room with a washing machine.

On the upper floor there are two bedrooms with single beds, a large living room with a fireplace and a satellite TV and a bathroom with a shower and WC.

In front of the house a sundeck that looks onto the large garden where there is a playhouse for the children. The deck is fully furnished with garden furniture and a barbecue, and is ideal for sunbathing, dining and enjoying the tranquil surroundings.

All around Gubblyckan there are pine forests and hills perfect for walking and biking in summer and cross-country skiing in winter. Depending on the season, you can go wild berry or mushroom picking. Wild animals, such as elks, roe deer and hares are frequently seen around the cottage. The lake is a short walk away(600 m)and perfect for a refreshing swim during summer.

Arrival and departure:
The cottage is let from Saturday to Saturday. The tenant has access to the cottage from 3 o’clock p.m. on the day of arrival until 10 o’clock a.m. on the day of departure.

When you arrive we meet and we show you around, and when you leave we meet again and then the house should be in the same condition as when you arrived.

A rowing boat is available free of charge. Bikes, canoes and a motor boat are offered for rental.

Small roads and paths close to the house are excellent for walks and rambles.

The cottage is situated about 30 km from the village of Kisa, where there are shops, farmacy, liquor shop, cafées and restaurants.

The nearest golf course is situated about 30 km from the cottage.
You can fish and have a swim in lake Asunden (600 m).
Cross-country skiing close to the house and proper tracks at a distance of 5 km.
Down-hill skiing at Kisa (30 km).

If things are getting too quiet it is not far to cities where there most often are a choice of shopping, cultural and other activities, for example:

Astrid Lindgren's World at the small town of Vimmerby (50 km).
The Old Town and cultural activities in Linkoping (70 km).
The picturesque small town of Västervik (70 km) on the east coast is suitable for a day's outing.
There is a zoo/wildlife park at Kolmården (120 km).
