Vacation Rental Description
Villa in Beniali, sleeps upto 10 people, 2 double rooms, 2 twin rooms and a double sofa bed. We also have a cot,bed side stair gate and high chair available for the little ones. There is a bathroom with a bath and shower, and a downstairs shower room. The villa is situated on the edge of the quiet village of Beniali, in the Vall de Gallinera. The area is one of the main areas in Spain for cherries, so if you stay in March/April, the area will be covered in white cherry blossom, and if you visit in May/beginning of June, you can sample the cherries in abundance. In Beniali there is also an olive mill, which in November/December each year is busy producing the wonderful olive oil, which is available to buy.
In Beniali there are 5 bar/restaurants where you can sample the local cuisine such as Wild Boar Stew, or just sit outside with a cold beer or glass of wine on a warm summers evening. In the next village, Benissiva there are more local bars and a bakers. In Beniali there is also a bank with cash machine, chemist and childrens playground. A small market visits the village every Monday, selling fruit,veg, cold meats and cheeses.
The closest town is Pego, which is a 15 minute drive away, (we recommend you hire a car for the duration of your stay), here there are supermarkets, health centre, banks, and other shops, bars and restaurants.
Facilities
All bedding is provided, and towels for use in the villa. The villa is cleaned before your arrival and after you leave, if extra cleaning is required during your stay, this can be arranged at extra cost. The bedrooms and lounge all have air conditioning and central heating. The kitchen has a good supply of utensils. There is also an outside kitchen area with another fridge, cooker and gas BBQ. Baby sitting can be arranged. Swimming lessons can also be arranged with a qualified swimming teacher.
Activities
The acclaimed Oliva Nova golf course is 30 mins drive away. There is a Safari Park at El Verger just the other side of Pego.
All the water sports are available in Denia, and horse riding is available near Pego.
Walking in the area is excellent, and the villa provides a good base. We can provide information for walks ranging from easy to difficult, or an English guide can be hired, for longer walks and to find local places of interest, eg the ruins of old Moorish villages, ice houses, hidden fonts, ruins of the castles of Al Azraq or a hike to the local beauty spot of the Forada (the hole in the mountain).
There is a new shopping centre in Ondara approx 25 mins by car, which also has a cinema and Ten Pin bowling.
In the summer months there is a full size outdoor pool, 10 mins by car, with sun bathing areas, bar and restaurant.

We require 20% deposit on booking. With balance being due 4 weeks before arrival. This can be paid in euros directly to a Spanish bank account, or in pounds to an English Bank account, or by credit or debit card via paypal (at a small extra charge) Change over days are flexible
