The Moraira / Fanadix area: Moraira a lies in a bay, originally an old fishing village that now has a large Marina. The town retains much of its fishing village character with its narrow streets lined with a variety of shops, bars and many restaurants serving food to suit all tastes and budgets. There is a weekly Friday market in the town all year round and a nightly town centre craft market during the summer months. Benidorm is a thirty minute drive and has lots of activities and theme parks and is worth a visit. Along the coast road towards Calpe there are many quiet beaches to be found.
