Vacation Rental Description
The villa is in the exclusive and quite residential area of Balcon al Mar, many nice walks and viewing points here. There are views of the sea and lighthouse from many different areas of the property. There are bars, restaurants, a supermarket and tennis courts all within walking distance.
The villa has recently been refurbished to a very high standard and is ideal for the extended family or a group of friends. It is arranged as a two bedroomed villa with a one bedroomed apartment adjacent to it. This is all set within lovely gardens and terraces and is secure behind a second gate gate. There is off road parking for two cars.
The main villa has two bedrooms, both with A/C 1 double with en-suite shower room and 1 king/twin bedroom. The family bathroom has a spa bath and a hand held a shower. There is a vanity unit with a mirror and lights.
There is a lovely dining room, which seats eight. A/C, music system, sea views and outside staircase to the roof terrace with sun loungers. Large separate lounge with sea views, comfortable leather sofas, feature fireplace with wood burning fire, 42inch T.V. with English channels and DVD player. There is a selection of DVDs, CDs, books, games and information on things to do and places to visit.
The kitchen is fitted with high quality units. All appliances are integrated, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, electric oven and microwave. Gas hob, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board. There is a large supply of crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and glassware.
Outside is a new covered dinning area which seats six. Gas BBQ. Steps lead up to the pool terrace where you will find more lovely sea views. The pool 10x4 has roman steps at one end. There is an outside bar, a solar pool shower, sun loungers.
The apartment is large and bright with a double bed, an extra single bed can be accommodated here, plenty of storage, a separate shower room, fully fitted kitchen area with integrated fridge, dishwasher, full size electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board. Good supply of crockery, glassware and cooking utensils. There is a TV/DVD.
French doors lead to its own outside dinning terrace and garden area with sea views. Pictures of the apartment can be sent via e.mail.
All bedrooms have hairdryers.
All terraces are well light at night for you to enjoy.
The villa is available from 3.30pm on your start date and needs to be vacated by 10.00am when you leave. Saturday is normally change over day but can be flexible if enough notice is given. A 10% discount is given on holidays of three weeks or more. A welcome pack, pool towels, welcome drinks in owners outside bar and jacuzzi area are supplied. You are welcomr to use the jacuzzi for a small extra charge.
Outside peak season the villa or apartment can be booked separately. Please contact owner for details.
The owner has an apartment below, this is totally separate with its own entrance.
Javea and the surrounding areas has something to appeal to all. It is an area of outstanding beauty from the rugged coastline to its famous mountain, The Montgo, which is a national park, where you can tackle walks and climbs of varying difficulty. Water sports, scuba diving, sailing and theme parks are all a short drive away.
The Arenal beach is ideal for families. The Port and old town each have their own charm and character, you will usually find something going on especially if there is a fiesta.
Javea market is held on a Thursday, lovely fresh produce and goods. You can find markets most days in other towns nearby.
A cold box, beach umbrella and a couple of beach chairs are supplied.

Activities
A supermarket, tennis courts and restaurants within walking distance of the villa.
A 10mins drive takes you to the centre of Javea and the Arenal beach, which is blue flagged. It has a children's play area. Here you will find plenty of water sports, boats can be hired from the canal end. There are shops, restaurants and bars along the promenade and a craft-market at night.
Further along is the port with the marina and fish market. There is a more Spanish feel here, lots of good restaurants. The old town with its quaint streets and squares is set in the hills above the bay.
Visit the Jalon Valley and sample some of the local wines.
A visit to the old fortress town of Guadalest is a must, take the boat trip around the lake as well.
Terra Mitica and Aqualandia are approx. 30mins drive away near Benidorm. Ideal for the young or young at heart.
The Montgo which overlooks Javea is spectacular.
