Vacation Rental Description
We have two stunning spacious apartments on our 14.5 acre Spanish Estate just outside the town of Ibi which is 40 minutes easy drive inland from Alicante [Airport and the City's beautiful beaches]. The property is set on the hillside with a grove of Olive and Almond Trees, small Pine Forest and a stunning landscaped south-facing 17 metre swimming pool. Please read the testamonials on our web site as our clients have universally praised the accommodation and setting. The Estate offers seclusion without isolation. The nearest town of Ibi [pop. c. 30,000] is only a 3/4 min. drive or 15/20 minute walk away and offers every modern convenience. Additional bonus the town is famous for Ice Cream [superb - the best we have ever tasted]. The First Floor Apartment has two double bedrooms and a family suite and sleeps 7 [+baby]. The Second Floor apartment has four double bedrooms and sleeps 8. The Bedrooms have a choice of twin or double bed layouts. We don't believe in sofa beds in lounges - everyone has their own bedroom. Each apartment covers a floor area in access of 1700 sq.ft. and is very spacious. Special offers are available for large groups needing the full accommodation over both floors. Within 35 minutes drive are the superb award winning beaches of the Costa Blanca - our favourite is Campello. There are also 3 Golf Courses within easy drive, a stunning Natural Park, the beautiful City of Palms - Elche, in 75 minutes you can visit Valencia.

My husband and I just wanted to thank you for the kind hospitality you showed us during our recent stay at Vista Alegre. The apartment was spotless and we really appreciated the welcome pack on arrival. You did a great job of anticipating the needs of your guests. Everything inside was of a high standard and very tastefully presented.
Vista Alegre is best seen in real life. The location is peaceful and relaxing, set in the hills. Ibi, just a 15 minute walk away, was charming. A great place for a stroll and coffee al fresco and a good array of shops.
We really enjoyed spending time in the swimming pool every afternoon . It was so inviting. And a stroll through the pine forest is something not to be missed.
The weather was beautiful and the scenery was lovely. We had a very relaxing time.
Can't wait to return!

We have spent four very relaxing holidays at Vista Alegre which is a superbly restored traditional Spanish masia. The apartments are luxuriously appointed and well maintained. There is a large pool in the extensive grounds which is the focus of most days. Alongside the pool is an elegant pool-house and there are lovely mountain views from there. Between the house and the pool there is a pretty wooded area and it is particularly pleasant to use the hammocks in the shade here.
We would thoroughly recommend Vista Alegre as a great place to relax, swim, read and stroll. You will hear the goat bells most days and the hoopoe at times too. The evenings are perfect for eating outside. The clear skiesmake for good stargazing and beautiful sunsets.

I have stayed at Vista Alegre several times and it is a delightful haven in the summer and winter.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the swimming pool and its surrounds are welcoming in hot weather, it is enchanting to lie in the pool and be surrounded by wonderful views of forests and hills.
The grounds are safely enclosed but are spacious enough to go for walks or play hide and seek or football.
There are plenty of markets, restaurants and places of interest within a reasonable distance of Vista Alegre and it is served by an excellent road system which is not so busy that the noise intrudes.
Vista Alegre is a place to relax, chill out and recharge your batteries.

Vista Alegre was such a great holiday. Carol and I were delighted with the facilities and all the info you provided. Your pix hardly do justice to the swimming pool and walks within the 14 acres of your property. We'd strongly recommend anyone who'd life to get a flavour of the REAL Spain to stay ...IBI is a delightful market town just a fifteen to twenty minutes walk across the valley. the local restaurants were excellent and truly excellent value....not to mention those ice cream and coffee shops .... and the local market and fashion stores made someone very happy... We enjoyed exploring ...empty motorways! ...to really interesting places!
Thoroughly recommend Vista Alegre as a TOTALLY relaxing experience.

Dear Vista Alegre
We are writing to say how much we enjoyed our stay at Vista Alegre. We loved walking among the olive and almond trees and got much pleasure from our visits to the town. The apartment is very comfortable and we had everything we needed for a really great holiday. We really felt we were in the depths of the Spanish countryside but appreciated being so close to the high life of Alicante and other towns. We'll definitely be back!

Virginia, Jack, Joanne & Phillip fell in love with this wonderful old Masia [traditional Spanish Farm Estate House] set in 14.5 acres of land and took on the immense task of a sympathetic restoration back in late 2005. We are thrilled with the final result as are our extended family and friends who have spent holidays with us at Vista Alegre. Our first guests - English and Spanish have written wonderful comments in our Guest Books.
