This rustic traditional spanish villa is on a plot over over 2000 sq metres set away from main roads, ideal for family's that want a very peaceful holiday, that said this is also an area where there is plenty to do, with golf coursers, beaches, water sports, Safari Park, horse riding, shopping and general sightseeing all close by.
There are many historical towns to visit including Albertera, Crevillente, Orihuela, Elche (the shoe manufacturing capital of Spain) and not forgetting Alicante (approx. 20 minutes away). So often overlooked but it is a lovely town for a days shopping with numerous restaurants and cafes to visit. There are tree lined avenues to wander down or just to sit and watch the world go by. Major international airport close by - Alicante 15 minutes.
With swimming and tennis, horse riding, beaches, Terra Mitica theme park, Aqualandia water park, Safari, Waterfall, swimming and sailing (amongst a few of the many attractions available), all within a short driving distance. For golfers, Alenda, 18 hole, Par 72 championship course will prove to be a challenge for golfers of all levels. It is laid out with a variety of trees with a large number of bunkers.
The beaches of Guardamar are 20 minutes drive from this villa, whilst the main international airport at Alicante is also within 20 minute drive along the motorway. The main tourist town of Alicante is a 20 minute drive to the north, whilst Torrevieja, with it's golden beaches is located 30 minutes along the coast to the south. For golfers there are over 15 golf courses within a 1 hours drive of this villa, including Villamartin, La Dequesa, Alicante, La Sella, La Finca and Campoamor. For shopping, there is a large hypermarket in Crevillente and Carrefour hypermarket and a new shopping complex called "LALJUB" there are endless shops, numerous bars and restaurants located in Elche. There is also Alicante, with it's huge harbour area, endless bars, restaurants, clubs and of course, superb shopping.
Crevillente is a bustling, typical Spanish town and although only 20 minutes from the main tourist areas, it has retained its traditional character. You can enjoy a quiet drink in one of the many parks or plazas, shop in the busy weekly street market or enjoy the tranquillity of the nature reserve at El Fondo. Like most of the surrounding towns Crevillente prides itself on its fiestas and processions. 'Moors and Christians' (early October) and 'Samana Santa' (Easter) being the biggest and most famous. The Sierra Crevillente, behind the town, offers the chance of more sedate daytime activities such as hill-walking and bird watching (Bonellis Eagles and many more), while the nearby towns offer the more traditional holiday pursuits
