Vacation Rental Description
Villa Sarabanda is a spacious detached family villa with a private swimming pool situated within a peaceful residential suburb of the cosmopolitan resort of Calpe on the Costa Blanca. The villa stands in an elevated - south facing position with wonderful views. Villa Sarabanda is a fantastic base for family holidays within the seaside resort of Calpe. The region of Calpe enjoys a unique micro climate, where sunny days are in abundance throughout the year (even through the mid winter months), ensuring that out of season family holidays can be a sunny possibility. There are three bedrooms upstairs sleeping 6 and a studio flat downstairs which will sleep 2. The main living and sleeping area is on the upper floor and is approached by an external staircase, which leads onto a substantial terraced area that is covered and overlooks the villa's swimming pool. The terrace has ample room for the enjoyment of alfresco meals and has wonderful southerly views over towards the Sierra Bernia Mountain range. Within the villa there is a good-sized dining and lounge area with a wood burning stove for winter use and a separate well fitted kitchen. The interior of the villa is furnished tastefully throughout, giving the villa an authentic Spanish feel. There is a CD stereo sound system, satellite TV with DVD player. Small library of CDs DVDs books and board games.

Bedroom 1 with double bed.
Bedroom 2 with twin beds.
Bedroom 3 with twin beds.
Bedroom 4 (in the downstairs studio, which has twin beds within the spacious living area.
Bathrooms: Upper floor consists of:-
En-suite shower room to bedroom 1 with shower, WC and hand basin.
Main family bathroom with bath, shower, WC, bidet and wash hand basin.
Downstairs in the studio is a shower room with WC and hand basin.
Kitchen: A separate well fitted main kitchen is on the upper floor providing crockery and cooking utensils with fridge/freezer, oven/hob, microwave.
Downstairs studio is a small kitchenette with a fridge, cooking facilities and the villas washing machine.
Utility Room: Downstairs there is an enclosed sun room with sliding tinted glass doors, containing a portable BBQ, sun loungers, large poolside parasol and a container with inflatable toys for children’s use in the pool. There is also a fold away travel cot.
The villa will be prepared for your arrival (beds will be made). Towels provided (not beach towels). Starter packs are available on request. If staying for two weeks or more, fresh bed linen and towels will be provided on a weekly basis.
Facilities
The villa is situated on a large corner site of a quiet cul-de-sac in a residential suburb of Calpe. (Los Pinos / The Pines). At the front of the villa is a standard sized swimming pool, with roman steps leading into it. Adjoining the swimming pool is a sun-terrace area with pool side furniture and a mosaic tiled wrap around pool shower. Within the sun-terrace area is a built-in barbecue with chimney. To the rear of the villa is a cactus garden, which grows amongst pine and eucalyptus trees. The property stands within a good-sized walled garden and has parking for two vehicles. From the villa it is a pleasant 10 minute walk to the sea & beach along pine tree clad lanes. The two main beaches around Calpe are of the highest standard and both have been awarded the blue flag by the F.E.E. (Foundation for Environmental Education.) The Paseo Maritimo runs along the edge of the beaches and is lined with a variety of bars and restaurants.
Activities
During the summer months "Water World" - is a fantastic day out for the kids and is within half an hours drive from the villa. Another theme park to try is "Terra Mitica".
Walking and rambling in the low and winter seasons. Rambling holidays in the costa Blanca area are highly recommended. There are guide books within the villa detailing walks that can be done in the region. As already mentioned Calpe enjoys a unique micro climate, where a sunny climate is a good possibility throughout the winter months. After a days walking - excellent rustic restaurants can be discovered in the hills and you can look forward to a hot bath and relaxing by the wood-burning stove on your return to the villa.
Cycling - The Spanish take their road bilking extremely seriously and again the climate adds to the enjoyment of this sport. The Costa Blanca / Valencian region is renowned as being one of the favoured hot spots for keen road cyclists.

25% of the holiday rental fee will be required as a deposit payment when confirming your booking. A giro credit slip will be forwarded onto you - to make your deposit payment in order to confirm your booking. The villa will accommodate from 2 to 8 people maximum. Bed linen and hand towels are provided at the villa.
