The property is a 300 year old traditional 'finca' (country villa) which has been restored to a high standard, retaining many original features eg. stone walls, wood beams and terracotta floor tiles. It is exceptionally large, the accommodation being double that of a standard 4 B/R villa . Set in its own grounds of 9000 sq.m with olive & almond trees, it is secluded (not urbanisation) with 360 degrees views of surrounding mountains & valleys. Reception rooms include two lounges, dining and breakfast, all leading onto a covered ¨naya¨ or pool terrace. There is a spacious kitchen, seperate laundry room and cloakroom. The upstairs includes 2 double bedrooms with en suite showers, 2 twin bedrooms and 1 large bathroom, all in the traditional Spanish style with wood beam ceilings. The 8 x 5 m. pool with Roman end steps for easy access is surrounded by a 200 sq.m terrace and barbeque, all sheltered by 2m high stonewalls giving complete privacy. Satellite TV, wireless broadband included.The villa is situated in the hamlet of Lleus at the foothills of the Sierra Bernia mountain range between the towns of Calpe and Benissa. Ideal for those wanting peace and quiet, and few crowds. This is a beautiful green area near all amenities yet very private and exclusive. Only 10 minutes drive on country roads to the coastal town of Calpe with its fabulous sandy beaches and old working fishing port at the base of the Penon de Ifach. The Penon and salt flats are now designated a national park with unique vegetation, flamingos and a migrant bird population.The town offers a wide variety of shops, excellent restaurants, plenty of daytime and nighttime entertainment and sporting facilites. The two large, blue flag beaches are well maintained, the water is calm & shallow and suitable for families. There are also several theme parks nearby in Benidorm. Also close is Benissa with iis old style buildings & narrow streets, the picturesque Jalon valley and the mountain village of Pinos.

    Bed linen & towels are included but not pool and beach towels. If you require a linen change during your stay, let us know beforehand and this can be arranged at £8.00 per person per change. All rentals include gas, water & electricity for electrical appliances supplied by the proprietor (ie not portable air conditioning units/storage heaters) Cot & high chair are available at £25 per stay. No final clean charge. A non-refundable deposit of 25% secures your booking, with the final balance together with a refundable security/damage deposit of £200, payable 8 weeks prior to departure. Full payment & security deposit is required at time of booking if rental date is within 8 weeks. Payment options are by bank transfer or cheque. Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner.
