Vacation Rental Description
Tenth floor apartment on the triangle of land leading to the Calpe Rock. Its excellent position gives it sea views from both the back and front of the apartment. Large front balcony, overlooking 3 shared swimming pools with sea view over the marina and towards the mountains. Back balcony with sea views and a view of the Calpe Rock. The Levante beach is 2 mins walk away, as is the marina and many restaurants and bars. The nearest airport is Alicante which is one hour away. Benidorm and the 2 theme parks Terra Mitica and Terra Natura are half an hour away by car, train or bus, or one hour by boat. 2 supermarkets are a 15 min stroll away along the seafront (including a Mercadona). Calpe town with its bustling shops and lovely old town, filled with murals and balconies with flowers, is a 40 minute walk down the seafront, or a 10 minute bus ride away, the bus stop is 2 mins walk from the apartment block.
Bedroom 1 with double bed, wardrobe and safe and en-suite, bedroom 2 with twin beds and wardrobe. Living room with 3-seater sofa, 2-seater sofa, z-bed for child, z-bed for adult, dining table with 6 chairs, TV (not satellite), video player, DVD player, CD player/radio. Back balcony contains a washing machine.
En-suite bathroom to bedroom 1 contains shower, WC and wash basin. Main bathroom contains bath with shower over, bidet, WC and wash basin.
Separate kitchen with cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and sandwich toaster.
There is a travel cot suitable for a baby. All 3 main beds have 3 inch memory-foam toppers, to ensure a perfect nights sleep even for those with back problems. For the winter there are warm brushed-cotton sheets and blankets. Both bedrooms and the kitchen have sea views. There are DVDs, books and Videos for use of guests in the apartment. There is no smoking allowed in the apartment, smoking is only permitted on the balconies.
There is a small slope up to the apartment, but it is accessible for people with walking sticks. The apartment is on the 10th floor and accessible by lift.
Balcony furniture: plastic table for back balcony, plastic table and 6 chairs for front balcony, 2 padded sun-chairs, various beach items including blow-up dinghy with oars, some padded sun loungers to take to beach or pool.
There are 3 shared swimming pools. There is one adult pool; one child’s pool and one pool for toddlers, none of them are heated. The back balcony has the sun in the morning and the front balcony in the afternoon.
2 minutes walk to the Levante beach, this contains a children’s climbing frame, and in August English films are played on the big screen on the beach. Bars and restaurants line the beach (including an excellent cocktail bar). The promenade hosts an assortment of stalls and living statues in the summer months, and is also the setting for the Spanish 'Paseada' (Sunday walk by Spanish people dressed up in their best clothes). 10 mins walk to the Arenal beach.
Towels and bed-linen are included (except beach towels). Apartment is cleaned after each booking, and also each week for bookings over 1 week long. Saturday changeover day for August, all other periods have flexible changeover days. Flexible departure and arrival times. Payment by cheque only. 10% non-refundable deposit for all periods, payable within 2 weeks of booking. Monthly installment payments accepted. Full payment must be received 4 weeks prior to holiday.
