Villa Almedia II has magnificent sea and mountain views surrounding the Altea area.
Vacation Rental Description
The spacious villa is set on 3 floors with lots of outdoor space to enjoy Al Fresco dining. It even has its own bar which will be stocked for you. Very comfortably furnished throughout, the villa is to be enjoyed both for summer holidays and winter sunshine too and comfortably sleeps 9 people. Please note that this villa can be linked with Villa Almedia I (ref 29247) which is just a few doors away, this would then allow sleeping for parties of up to 19 people. A great combination for groups of walkers, cyclists, and other outdoor pursuits.
There is a ramp access to the front door for wheelchair use. The entrance hall leads straight to the open plan lounge with its high ceiling and stained glass window. The lounge is comfortably furnished with sofa and arm chairs and even has a piano for the musically talented. The dining table seats 6 plus there is additional seating in the kitchen. Large sliding patio doors open to the pool and terrace area. An archway leads to the kitchen which has plenty of cupboard space, appliances and is well equipped for your stay. On this level there are two bedrooms, a double with lots of wardrobe space and en-suite shower room with hydromassage shower cabinet and there is also a twin room with fitted wardrobes. A shower room is also available which has been built as a wet room with hand held shower to accommodate wheelchair users. Open tread stairs lead to a galleried landing where there is a further bedroom with double bed and a single bed. This room is a lovely size and again has fitted wardrobes and an en-suite shower room with hydromassage shower. A further bedroom has bunk beds and fitted wardrobes and next to this another shower room with hydromassage shower. A door from the landing leads to a terrace which has a table and chairs.
From the lounge another open stread staircase leads down to a wonderful bar and games area. The bar, which has bar stools, is stocked with wine which you are welcome to enjoy and we can also arrange for other refreshments to be available. A large under counter refrigerator is installed and lots of glasses. The games area has a pool table with cues and dartboard and for your enjoyment you will also find a wall mounted flat screen tv with dvd player. The tv will also receive some English channels.
Outside, there is a long driveway with parking. To the side of the house is a colourful gazebo with picnic style benches giving some lovely shady dining on those hot summer days. You will also find an outside kitchen with freestanding oven and charcoal BBQ.
The pool terrace is superb with decked seating area which has a table and chairs and space for soaking up the sun. The pool which is raised from ground level, is an infinity style with roman steps leading into the shallow end and a ladder from the deep end. The views from this terrace are beautiful to the sea, the church of Altea and the mountains.
Facilities
Please note travel cots, high chairs, security safe, bicycles and much more can all be included in the property if required but these must be pre-booked for a small weekly fee, please ask us for further details. We are able to provide you with discounts for the theme parks and attractions in the area including Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, Benidorm Palace, boat trips and balloon flights. We can also arrange for a chef to come and cook a Spanish meal for you in the villa or organise a fully staffed BBQ from as little as 25€ per person. We request that smoking is restricted to the outside areas.
Activities
Altea itself is a bustling Spanish town with white washed houses in the old town, cobbled streets and a fantastic church and town square surrounded by restaurants, cafe bars, shops selling local crafts and paintings and wonderful views. The beach and promenade of Altea, which by car is around 15 minutes, offers more restaurants and shops and also links with the promenade of Albir which provides a lovely walk.
The town of Callosa Dén Sarria is approximately 2km away and is very typically Spanish with most of its employment being found in the orange and lemon groves that are found all around this area. The town has a wide range of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and banks as well as a twice weekly market. You must also visit the nearby Algar water falls or cactus gardens. A bus service is available to the resort of Benidorm.

The villa is set in a quiet location in a residential area overlooking Altea, Albir and Benidorm.It is an ideal location for a get away from it all holiday, family holiday or an activity holiday as it is only a 20 minute drive from the motorway network for visiting all places on the Costa Blanca. A car is essential for your stay as the nearest supermarket is less than a 10 minute drive away but for dining out or visiting the surrounding areas a car is a must. Travel Options

- Travel Info: Nearest airport Alicante, take the AP7 motorway to either junction 65 or junction 64 (approximately 45 minutes) the property is approximately 20 minutes from these junctions following the signs to Callosa d'en Sarria. We can arrange daily or weekly car rental at this property. Alternative airport is Valencia which is just 1 hour 20 minutes from this villa - check out flight offers and bargains available with your local low cost airline.

All prices quoted now include for departure clean and laundry costs / on 14 nights or more a mid stay mini clean and laundry change can also be included. Bed Linen and Towels are provided. A 20% deposit secures a booking with balance payable 8 weeks before arrival date. Credit and Debit cards accepted. Damage deposit 500 euros refundable after stay will be required. Smokers are welcome but we ask you to refrain from smoking inside the property.
