Vacation Rental Description
Apart from its perfect location, facing the sea and overlooking one of the best beaches on the med, this apartment has generous room sizes and great light. It is cool and spacious, and modern and bright. There is a brand new fitted kitchen and bathroom, and all has been equipped and furnished with everything required for a perfect seaside holiday. It is in a modern block with newly renovated lobbies and brand new lift. As well as the beach, there is a lifeguard attended pool and tennis courts, both private to residents of the block. A wide range of restaurants and bars, tapas bars and icecream parlours, and local shops, are 5 mins stroll along the promenade. The beach, (approx 50m), is wide & sandy, with blue flag accreditation, and is 10km long in total. It is well equipped with chiringuitos (beach bars) in high season, and a local market one evening per week in high season. Daimus is a stylish town, set within miles of orange groves, where many families from Madrid & Valencia own holiday homes. It is perfect for couples or families who want to experience a truly spanish holiday in an authentic and very friendly town.
Apart from the beach, there are lots of other activities. Gandia, which is the next town in size to Valencia city, is 2km away (5 mins in the car). Gandia has all amenities - fantastic shopping including a newly built shopping centre which has all the spanish brands such as Zara and Massimo Dutti, plus bowling and cinema complex, plus lots of smaller designer shops, as well as a wealth of cultural and historic sites including a renowned church and the beautiful medieval Palacio of the Borgias. Valencia is a 50 minute train ride from Gandia, and makes a great day out. The region is famous for its historical fiestas, and there are lots of smaller historic churches, castles and little museums in the various towns. Also, for families there are a great safari park about 30 mins drive from the apartment, plus numerous go karting tracks. At the apartment, you will find a welcome pack with lots of information to help you to get the most from your stay.
