Vacation Rental Description

A bungalow built 5 years ago especially for friends and family, ideal for families looking for a peaceful location, but with plenty of facilities for activities. Apart from tennis, badminton, basketball, the swings, large trampoline and swimming pool with water slide, we have bicycles for hire and there are lots of areas to take walks along the lanes amid the orange groves. There is also a small village within walking distance with a lovely restaurant. The property is on a level site with no steps. The pool has lighting for late night dips and is situated in the sun all day, with loungers and parasols for shade, and a portable BBQ. The outside patio has lighting and dining furniture. for romantic evenings. Air conditioning is available for a small charge, fans included in bedrooms and kitchen and lounge areas. The owners live on site in a separate villa, are available 24 hrs in case of emergencies and can provide local information, translation etc. The pool is cleaned and maintained throughout your stay. The bungalow has its own car port to provide shade for your car. The beaches of Cullera, Valencia, Gandia, Tavernes and others are approx 30/40 minutes by car. The airport of Valencia is 30/40 minutes by car and Alicante approx 1 hour 20. Both airports have a very good selectionof car hire companies. The nearest town, Alberic, is approx 5 minutes by car.

There is a water theme part at Cullera, markets, restaurants and shopping at local towns of Alberic, Xativa and Alzira, night clubs at Alzira all within short driving distances. There is a gym at the local village of Tous, and a restaurant which is within walking distance. We have bicycles for hire.

We require a 25% non-refundable deposit when you confirm your stay. The balance is payable two weeks before your stay. Payment required by bank transfer in pounds sterling to English account.

A small bond of £250 payable on arrival which is refundable on your completion of stay (assuming there is no damage etc).

Air conditioning is optional, payable on arrival.

Owners Profile

Enjoy a family holiday

We have lived in this area since 2004, with our two sons, two dogs, four cats and four chickens. Our bungalow was primarily built for our visiting family and friends, but is now available for you to rent. Both our sons speak Spanish and we live onsite so are available to keep the pool clean, and meet with you if you wish to advise on local areas of interest, otherwise you will be left in peace to enjoy your holiday.

We find the local restaurants are good, Spanish and English, and our favourite spot is the panoramic vista of the old Tous, a local village where a dam was built and then the village flooded to provide water for the area, about 30 years ago. The top of the old church can still be seen above water. A new village of Tous was built, which is where we walk to through the lanes in between the orange groves. We also like to cycle through the lanes and we have bicycles you can hire.

There are lots of beaches nearby, but our favourite is at Xeraco, because it is not at all commercialised and is just right for the family, with lovely sand and an area with rock pools.

We also like to go to the market in Alzira, which is on every Wednesday, for fruit, vegetables and lots of other goods are offered. There is also a smaller market in the local town of Alberic every Monday, and in Tous every Tuesday.

One of our sons likes to go to the Gokart track near Xativa, about 15 minutes drive, which is a very reasonable price for a ride with all the gear provided.
