Vacation Rental Description

The villa is part of an exclusive residential development that lies adjacent to the historic, traditional Spanish village of Sucina. With ample parking and a terraced garden, it has been fashionably furnished and contains all the comforts for an enjoyable stay. The roof top terrace allows for private sunbathing. It is equipped with comfortable loungers and a seating area with a dining table and 4 chairs, ideal for those relaxing evening BBQ's. Nearby there is a large communal pool with a separate children's pool. Within the development itself, tennis courts, bars and restaurants and children’s play areas are all available. In the village you can enjoy authentic Spanish life whilst having access to essential services. In addition to its renowned, beautiful church and terraced 18th century houses, the village contains a number of Spanish bars and a small market is run weekly.

Hob, oven, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board, cleaning equipment, room fans. Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service: There is a local meet and great service with the key holder who also arranges weekly cleaning, towels and linen exchange. Beach towels are not provided. Notes on accommodation: Fans and heating are also provided. There is a one off cleaning charge of 60 Euros at the end of the stay payable locally. A welcome pack is available if required. Access to the front patio is via 3 steps.

Coast/Beach:
This is an unspoilt area of Spain which boasts several regional parks, ideal for walking, cycling and bird watching. The climate is also ideal for many other outdoor pursuits, including cycling and horse riding and numerous water sports. Pedal boat, canoes and windsurfing are available at the local beaches.

Golf:
The La Peraleja (Seve Ballesteros) and Hacienda Riquelme (Jack Nicklaus) Golf courses are both located within 3km from the villa. There are many additional courses all located within a 25 minute drive from the apartment.

Travel:
The nearest airport, San Javier Murcia, is 20 mins away. Alicante is approximately 1hr 10 min. Car hire certainly makes the area more accessible but it is not essential since transport to and from the airport can be arranged if required.

We are a family of four based in Somerset and enjoy an annual holiday abroad to experience different life styles and cultures. Sucina is such a welcome change from the usual coastal image of Spanish resorts of bars and bright lights. It is great to be able to taka short 5 minute walk and be in the centre of a authentic Spanish town with all the amenities required for a stay abroad. The choice of holiday activities from this town is almost endless from nearby safe and beautiful beaches, historic towns and villages, mountain walks, wild life parks and many sports. For those people that play Golf, there are 2 courses within 3 Km of the town and a further 3 within a short 15 minute drive. The real added value to staying at Wellsway is having very helpful local key holders. As part of the small British community within Sucina, they know the local and surrounding areas intimately, and always ensure that our guests have everything they need to make their stay a memorable one. Having a roof patio is an experience that is hard to replicate for those who come from colder climates. Sitting and having a drink while watching the evening sun go down and listening to the hum (and occasional music) of the local community is always very relaxing.

A £50 deposit is required to secure the booking with the remaining balance paid 28 days before arrival. You will be required to pay a refundable deposit of £100 to cover any damage or loss of keys during your stay. This will be refunded within 2 weeks of departure.
