Mi Refugio (My Refuge) is the ideal self-catering base for a small family or group (4+2) wanting to experience the real Spain but with home comforts such as English/German TV, DVD, and a restaurant on hand. The Villa offers a secure garden with a climbing frame and BBQ for al-fresco dining in the sun of our lovely private garden.  
 
The exclusive Mazarron Country Club where it is based offers a range of sports on site and beside the communal pool, authentic Spanish tapas. Nearby, there are great golf courses (La Manga) and open country horse-riding. Puerto de Mazarron, the nearest town to the the villa, offers a wide range of wonderful authentic Spanish restaurants, unspoilt beach-side strolls on the many warm, balmy evenings typical of this region, as well as a wide range of summer and water sports for the more adventurous. Or why not try the open-air thermal pools, just a short easy hike or drive away? Want to go with friends? Other similar villas are available on site, to accommodate larger or multi-family groups. All this is within easy reach of Alicante or Murcia airports.  
 
Prices include air-conditioning and cleaning, towel and bed linen hire. There is also a large selection of beach inflatables and a skate board for your kids to use!

    • On site there are petanque courts and a communal pool (with a safe area for children). Less than five minutes' drive away, there is great golf, and beautiful Percheles beach where you can rockpool or play with the fish that swim in the clear, shallow waters! The area is a nature reserve so it's quiet and unspoiled - although there is one, traditional Spanish tapas restaurant, serving refreshments Uniquely, you can also bathe in the local mud baths, a natural geothermal spa with (we believe) health-giving properties! Puerto de Mazarron is a resort, popular with the Spanish, where you can find boat trips, diving and other water sports, and tons of children's beach play areas. There are also great walks and mountain biking to be found in the nearby Sierra Espunya mountains. But, if you just want to be lazy, why not just relax in our quiet, private garden, while your children play on our playframe with den and slide?
