The gated community at Roda Golf & Beach Resort is home not only to a fabulous Dave Thomas designed 18 hole par 72 PGA Accredited golf course but also offers a wonderful Beach Club at the end of La Manga and the recently opened Casa Club House all managed by DeVere. Roda Golf not only features the fabulous new Club House with superb restaurants and bars catering for all tastes, including live jazz and dinner nights on the outside terrace but also the fabulous new Beach Club and spa (with transport organized by Roda Golf) providing a fantastic setting in which to spend a day or two or three..... In all, La Casita is a wonderful all year round holiday destination Roda is also a convenient base for participating in all that the Costa Calida has to offer – whether it be sports such as sailing, windsurfing, water skiing and horse riding or enjoying a gentle sail on the Mediterranean Sea or perhaps a stroll along the wonderful promenade located on the fringes of the Mar Menor or even shopping at the local markets or in the sophisticated city of Murcia. La Casita is furnished and equipped to a very high standard, including central heating for those cooler winter days as well as hot and cold air conditioning to keep you comfortable during the hotter periods. La Casita will host 4 people comfortably in its two double bedrooms each furnished with twin beds. The master bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom and the second double bedroom has exclusive use of the shower room again with vanity unit and WC. All bedding and linens and towels and hairdryers are provided. Each bedroom has large double wardrobes with plenty of hanging and storage space as well as shutters to either let in or block out the sunshine (during your afternoon Siesta).

A TV (with UK and other channels) and DVD are provided as well as comfortable sitting room seating and outside dining on the large terrace overlooking the pool. There is also a selection of DVD’s and CD’s for your enjoyment whilst you are staying at La Casita. The kitchen is superbly equipped with a fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, ceramic hob, electric oven, toaster and juicer.

The extra large terrace, which is just steps away from the beautifully laid out swimming pool, is also furnished for outside dining plus sunloungers and is also home to “Prickles” our resident Aloe Vera cactus! However, if you need more beach and swimming, then spend a day at the Roda Golf & Beach Resort private Beach Club which is now open. Transfers are arranged locally by Roda Golf staff and more information can be found about the beach club at La Casita.

Roda Golf’s convenient location to nearby transport links including motorway and rail ensure that day trips to the Medieval city of Murcia or Roman and Carthagian Cartagena as well as fabulous historic Granada are all perfectly possible. It is also only 3 hours or so from Madrid or Granada if you wanted an extra special day trip during your visit. Getting there is also easy – Murcia (San Javier Airport) is 10 minutes from the resort and Alicante only a 50 minute drive along the motorway and both airports are served by numerous quality and low cost airlines.

The area is famous also for its therapeutic mud baths at Lo Pagan and the Thalassotherapy Spa. There are numerous natural parks and wildlife centres including the Calablanque National Park and the Sierra Espuna.
