Vacation Rental Description

Welcome to Piso Pomsol - a fantastic 2-bed, 2-bath apartment on the exclusive, luxury 5* Roda Golf and Beach Resort. It's beautifully furnished with lots of extras plus the odd luxury to make you feel at home. The stylishly furnished apartment has full air conditioning, full central heating and electric security grills.

The apartment is within easy walking distance of the golf course and new club house and within a few minutes drive of Los Alcazares and the Mar Menor beaches, which are gently shelving and really safe for kids.

In the lounge, there is comfy seating for up to 5 with a 32" flat screen TV with DVD player plus a CD/radio. With Satellite TV, so you don't miss your favourite programmes, plus CDs and DVDs to enjoy if you fancy a quiet night in.

The Master bedroom has a full en-suite bathroom, plus a twin-bedded room and separate family shower room.
Both bedrooms have ample wardrobe and cupboard space.

The kitchen has everything you will need if you want to cook including stainless steel pans and lots of home touches.

There is real luxury in this apartment. Granite worktops, marble floors and marble tiled bathrooms make it special.
IT'S OUR HOLIDAY HOME TOO so we've added lots of things that you wouldn't normally expect to find in a holiday let. We have even put in Safety equipment including First Aid Kit, Fire Extinguisher, Fire Blanket, Smoke Detector and Carbon Monoxide Detector.

There's a fantastic HUGE, south facing terrace where you can relax in the sun or shade all day. Why not start the day with breakfast in the sun at out large teak table or dine al fresco in the evening. At the end of the day it is the ideal place to put your feet up, maybe read a good book, have a glass of wine (or two) and generally relax as the sun goes down.

To make life easier for you, there is:
• Secure underground parking plus large storage area for your golf clubs and suitcases
• Lift in the apartment building providing wheelchair access from the car park or main entrance

Roda Golf is now an accredited PGA training academy - the first European course to achieve this. With 20% DISCOUNT off green fees at Roda, you might be tempted to stay at home but there are also 16 other courses within easy reach including the famous La Manga Club.

Roda has a private Beach Club at La Manga del Mar Menor - the 24km strip of which separates the Mediterranean Sea from the Mar Menor - with transport to and from the Resort. There's a restaurant and bar service, a supervised swimming pool plus jacuzzi and solarium .... perfect for “a pamper day”.

The brand new Clubhouse contains a fantastic restaurant, toilets, changing rooms and pro shop. The restaurant serves good food, with discounts for guests, with cheaper but excellent quality tapas and snacks available in the bar. The building has a stylish, modern design and its comfortable surroundings will make sure it becomes a second home for visitors, and a place where people can meet, relax and enjoy themselves… whether you play golf or not.

There is also: Freezer, hoover, ironing board, iron, hairdryer, coolbox, sun lounger, garden chairs There is a 32 inch flat screen TV, DVD and music system. A CD, DVD and book library is provided. Linen and towels are provided for use within the apartment - with fresh linen every week for stays of 2 weeks or more. The apartment is fitted with central heating and air-conditioning - great for all year round holidays. Access to the property is via the underground parking and lift or externally via slope and lift. Easy Wheelchair access into the apartment but note that internal doors are only standard width. For the comfort of all our guests there is no smoking in the apartment - however, an ashtray is provided for you to smoke on the balcony. Sleeps 4 comfortably: Kingsize and twin room. The 5th person is accomodated on a Z-bed (for a small supplement). Please note that this is only suitable for child or small adult.

LOS ALCAZARES: the nearest town is 2km away with a range of shops, bars & restaurants. The 8km promenade, fantastic blue-flag beaches and safe for kids. Dotted with "chiringuitos" - bars selling a variety of Tapas dishes, refreshments & local beer!

LOS NAREJOS: the nearest beach is just 1.5 km from the resort. Gently shelving and really safe for kids.

SANTIAGO DE LA RIBERA: a fishing village just 10 minutes drive away. Good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. A popular water-sports centre and sailing club ..... It's a great place to visit .....

LO PAGAN: is a 20 minute drive and a visit is a must to take in the famous mud baths. Get dirty ... by applying the mud all over the body and then dry out in the sun before washing off in the salt waters. The kids will love it!

Roda Golf & Beach Resort isn't just for golfers. It's for families too!

Located on the Costa Calida next to the Mediterranean Sea, just 1.5 km from The Mar Menor - a unique place with warm, shallow waters and clean, sandy, blue flag beaches.

Onsite, there are pools everywhere with fantastic gardens around them where you can sunbathe, read a book or just relax. There is sun all day to improve your tan, or shade for the more freckled amongst us!

For younger children, there are plenty of playgrounds to keep them happy, and for older children and adults there are newly built tennis, paddle tennis and a multi-court for basketball or five-a-side.

The Club house has both outdoor and indoor bars and restaurants with live entertainment during the Summer months. Eat a la carte, try the tapas or one of the substantial bar snacks.

There is also a mini market on site where you can buy essential food items, drinks, magazines and newspapers.

Travel Options

Nearest Airport : Mucia, San Javier at 7 kilometers distance;
Nearest Town : Los Alcazares at 2 kilometers distance
Travel Info: Getting here couldn't be easier! Roda Golf & Beach Resort is located 10 minutes from Murcia San Javier airport (though well away from the flight path) and under 1 hour from Alicante airport. A number of airlines fly into the area, unfortunately not all to Murcia, these include: BMIBaby, Aer Lingus, Easyjet, Flybe, First Choice, Jet2, Monarch, Ryanair and ThomsonFly. New line added. Car Hire isn't essential as the resort is only a 10 minute taxi drive from San Javier Airport and costs around €15 to Roda. BUT ... we do advise it as it is a 2 km walk to the nearest beach and to the bars and restaurants in Los Alcázares. It will make life easier and allow you to get out and about to see the beautiful countryside of Murcia, and play those other courses.

For convenience, we can also accept payment by Credit/Debit card via Paypal (subject to Fee). Payment Terms: • £100 deposit to secure booking (non-refundable) • £150 security bond required on booking. • Balance due eight weeks before your stay • Security bond refunded within 15 days of departure (following inspection). Arrival/Departure: Available for occupation from 16:00 hours on arrival, and should be vacated by 11:00 hours on the day of departure. Although we will try to accommodate early or late arrival and departure.
