In Camping Caravaning La Manga you are surrounded by a natural enviroment, on the shores of the Mar Menor you can find the nearby Regional Nature Reserve of Calblanque and the Mediteranean Sea. The very favourable climate and the calmness of the sea makes it an ideal location to spend wonderful holidays with family and friends.
Our Wooden Bungalows with 1 or 2 bedrooms, equipped for 4 or 6 persons, can be enjoyed throughout the year, and, dependant on the mode of your accomodation, each of our pitches of 84 m2 or 110 m2 are all equipped with mains water, waste water drainage and electicity points (10 amps). We also have an indoor Swimming Pool, a Sauna and a Gym open from October to March.
Camping Caravaning La Manga offers you a number of different services throughout the year such as: Supermarket, Restaurant-Cafeteria, Swimming Pool, Laundry, Wifi, Telephone Boxes, Daily delivery and collection of Post, Sale of Newspapers and Magazines, Safety Deposit box, Security service, 24 hour Reception. In the high season these Services are increased to include:, Open Air Cinema and Childrens Programme.
Camping Caravaning La Manga, offers it s customers free use of some of the sport and leisure facilities such as: Tennis Courts (6), Highwall Tennis (3), Football Pitch, Volleyball, Beachball Volley, Petanque/Boules Pitches (8), Swimming Pool, Childrens Playground,(**) Sailing School, etc...

We have different models of chalets They have 1 or 2 bedrooms, kitchen equipped with household utensils and mini-fridge, bathroom with shower, air conditioning and a terrace. They accomodate 4 to 6 persons.

Caravaning La Manga can best be reached by car via de MU-312 motorway, that links Murcia-Cartegena with Cabo de Palos Murcia from the North East one can take the motorway N 307 Madrid - Albacete. From the East use the Motorway A 7/ E15 to Alicante which links up with the AP7 Alicante-Cartegena.
By Train RENFE: There are daily train connections between Cartegena and Madrid, Barcelona, Alicante en Valencia. There is a Bus Stop just 15 min from the Camping.
By Air : The Airport of St Javier is 25 kms/15 mls from the Camping and the Airport El Altet at Alicante is just an hour away.

MAR MENOR The small towns that have sprung up on the shores of the Mar Menor owe their existance to the nearby towns of Murcia and Cartegena. About 700.000 people have settled here within 50 kilometers distance of its shores.
The high summer teperatures in the capital town of Murcia drive the population to the shores of the Mar Menor. This is the reason why this area is not so touristic, rather more a family summer resort. La Manga, the narrow, sandy strip of land 24 kilometers long, was not inhabited until 1960. It was previously owned by one family who had utilized a special way of fishing called encanizados. (inshore nets) Later it was recognised what outstanding opportunities the Lagoon could offer as an area for vacation and so began the touristic development of La Manga.
The beautiful beaches on both Seas are the main reason why so many Tourists return there each year.
