Vacation Rental Description
La Casa is located in the impressive residential development of the United Golf Resorts La Tercia complex in beautiful countryside in the south-eastern part of provincial Murcia. La Tercia is surrounded by abundant groves of orange, lemon, olive and almond trees, creating a truly wonderful setting. However, it is also only a short 15 minute or so drive to the blue flag beaches of the Mar Menor and the Costa Calida and Murcia Airport and about 45 minutes drive to Alicante Airport. The penthouse facilities are all that you would expect of luxury accommodation and include:
3 double Bedrooms all equipped with single beds that can be joined to form double beds, Master bedroom with ensuite bathroom luxuriously appointed with bath and shower and wardrobes, Bedrooms 2 and 3 - both equipped with 2 single beds and ample wardrobe space
Separate shower room and WC with hairdryers for each bathroom
Living area - tastefully furnished for your comfort and equipped with TV and DVD
Independent kitchen fitted with granite worktops, ceramic hob, electric oven and extractor hood, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, coffee maker, juicer, toaster.
Utility room with controls for the American central vacuum system, washing machine, iron, ironing board and airer.
19 sqm terrace equipped for outside dining with steps to the 90 sqm solarium with Pergola and also equipped for outside dining plus barbeque
La Casa is available all year round, whether for a family holiday, a long weekend of golf or a long weekend to escape from the British winter. We also welcome enquiries for long lets - just email us for details. Our rental prices include rental for up to 6 persons, all bed linen, bath and hand towels as well as kitchen towels. There is an additional cleaning and energy charge payable locally to our property manager on arrival. We can also arrange Welcome Packs and airport transfer, cots, highchairs, golf coaching, and advice on car hire – just ask us for full details.
This luxury resort has a small supermarket on site (more to come) and will also be complemented by its own commercial centre (built but not yet occupied). There is a sport bar with TV and wifi access and informal cafe well as the Casa Club house and bar now open. There are various communal pools, tennis court, paddle court, children’s play areas, football pitch and bowling green. Most of these facilities are in place and available for hire. Tennis racquets and woods for bowling are available to hire on site and we can also recommend bike hire services with delivery to your door.
Facilities
There are some of the great local activities available just a short drive from the resort - it is only 15 minutes or so drive from the beach resorts of the Mar Menor and La Manga. It is only a 20 minute drive from the beautiful cities of Medieval Murcia and Roman Cartagena or only 3.5 hours or so from Madrid or Granada. However, there are numerous other accessible, challenging and prestigious golf courses within a 15 minute drive of La Tercia such as De Vere Roda Golf, La Torre, Mar Menor, El Valle, Hacienda Riquelme and Peraleja Golf resort to name but a few. La Tercia Village can be found at the foot of the Sierra de Columbares (Natural Park) in the 'garden of Europe' and is a beautiful, peaceful and picturesque area. The natural park in the Carrascoy Mountains is nearby and is ideal for those that enjoy walking and hiking and the spa town of Fortuna is not far away if you fancy a day being pampered.
Activities
There are various shops located in the nearby towns and villages of Sucina and Balsicas plus the local village of La Tercia hosts a wine bar and a small supermarket. The resort is also only 20 minutes away from Murcia with its grand Cathedral, football stadium hosting local team Real Murcia,plus a vast range shops at the Nuevo Condominio shopping centre.
Sea fishing, Bowls & Tennis, Skiing & Winter sports, Riding & Country Pursuits, Climbing & Hiking, Sailing & Waters ports,Snorkelling & scuba diving and Bird watching are all available. The natural park in the Carrascoy Mountains is nearby and is ideal for those that enjoy walking and hiking and the spa town of Fortuna. There are many local weekly markets as well as regular fiestas to enjoy. In addition to the cultural delights of Murcia and Cartagena, the lively holiday resorts of Torrevieja, Los Alcazares and La Manga are also easily reached for days or evenings out..

- Travel Info: La Casa is in with easy reach of airports at Alicante (50 minutes on the motorway and Murcia (San Javier - 15 minutes or so) and the soon to be opened new airport at Corvera. The resort is just off the C3310 - the link motorway between the AP7 and the Autopiste de Mediterraneo.

We are offering a special rate of £350 pw until end June 2009. A 25% deposit is payable on confirmation plus a security deposit of £100 payable with final balance 6 weeks before your departure. Deposits are non-refundable so please ensure you have adequate holiday insurance. We can accept cash, cheque, credit card paypal There is a final cleaning and laundry charge of 65 euro for 4 persons and 85 euros for 6 people payable on arrival. Welcome pack, nursery equipment and bikes can be supplied - just contact us for details.

We have tried to think of everything you could need including hairdryers, cool boxes, pool towels to name just a few.
With it's location at Los Alcazares - it's near to restaurants and the beach as well as easy access to all that hte Mar Menor and Costa Calida have to offer. There is something for everyone ensuring all of the family will have a super holiday.
Favourite local restaurants are El Patio, Encarnacion for that very special meal, La Diva (as seen on TV), Rosarios, the local 8.95 euro all you can eat Chinese Takeaway to name but a few.
