San Pedro is a traditional Spanish Town with a marina, several bars and restaurants. The water of the Mar Menor are shallow and warmer than the sea so are therefore ideal for children (there are also play areas on the beach). There are different types of water sports offered. In the opposite direction are the villages of Pilar and Torre. Both villages have several very nice bars and restaurants. Dos Mares shopping complex is only a ten minute drive and offers a large supermarket, cinema, bowling, cafes, bars and clothes shops. It is ideally situated in tranquil surrounding yet all the amenities needed are close by.
