1 Bedroom Cottage in Denia

La Cartujita or the Casita was built in a rustic Castilian style. Originally it was used as a summer house. It's situated on the upper terrace behind the main house with a fantastic view of the sea and next to a conservation area with the magnificent Mount Montgo rising behind the town of Denia.
All the rooms are tastefully decorated in a rustic style with Castilian furniture .
The living area has a large sofa, coffee table, dining table and chairs, satellite TV, radio, DVD and CD players, as well as an internet connection for a PC. Adjacent to the living area is an open kitchen equipped with gas cooker, fridge, grill and microwave oven.
The bedroom has a wooden carved ceiling with a star motif, a large built-in wardrobe, a double/twin bed, a hot and cold air conditioning unit and an en-suite shower room. Linen and towels are provided.
A utility room has a washing machine and cleaning equipment.
There is a large terrace below leading down to a heart-shaped swimming pool set in the middle of a landscaped, terraced garden with views of the sea beyond.
There are many steps and pathways leading up to the cottage from the street,is not suitable for those with heart problem.
The cottage can only accommodate 2 adults and is not suitable for toddler and children.There is a no smoking policy in the house and no pets allowed.There are parking spaces infront of the house.

Barbecue ,Internet access in the cottage and clean towels and linen changes every week.Pool towels not provided. There are steps going up to the cottage, it is not suitable for elderly or disable. We do not allow dogs for we have two cats living out in the garden.

• Travel Info: Coming from Alicante take the motorway to Valencia AP-7/ A7, get off at junction 62 to Denia. Coming from Valencia get on to motorway AP-7/A7 to Alicante, avoid taking the motorway Alicante interior, get off at junction 62 to Denia. After leaving the toll station, follow signs to Denia until you get into the town. After passing a few roundabouts look out for signs to Les Rotes (sometimes it might spell Las Rotas). Turn right when you get to a roundabout, with the harbour in view, pass the Marina on your left and Port Denia Hotel on your right, continue for about 2 KM until you get to a Y junction, turn left at the sign Les Rotes. When you see MR Hotel on your left drive for another 100 yards and turn sharp right when you see a black anchor on a stand with the inscription ‘Llomar del Castanar’ on it. The private cul-de-sac winds its way up to No.34 ‘La Cartuja’ on the right. You can park in the road opposite the house. Please call us when you are near our house and we shall come down to help you with your luggage. If you use a GPS navigator, type the street names Carrer de Siri or Calle de Siri in Denia.
