7 Bedroom Guest House in Rias Altas

Casas do Campo is an organisation offering accommodation in converted vernacular buildings deep within the Natural Park of Fragas do Eume. This Natural Park is located in Monfero, 55 kilometres away from the larger and much visited city of A Coruña.  
 
4 independent cottages form the bulk of the accommodation available, with a fully accessible unit for people with reduced mobility. All structures are surrounded by such an environment as the Natural Park status might suggest, thus the ideal location to get lost within the rich forests and rivers, where reconstructed windmills will make you feel as if you just walked back a couple of centuries.  
 
Common areas and facilities such as a swimming pool and open-fire-heated-palleira [traditional construction in stone and straw not unlike prehistoric huts] should also be mentioned.  
 
Activities; walking trails,Emblematic monasteries, horse-back-riding, kayaks, golf facilities and spa centers, If it is the beach you are after, there are plenty of river and open sea beaches at a radious of 25km.  
 
 

We have 3 guest houses with 2 rooms: Kitchen catering for 6 people – fridge-freezer, 2 stove gas cooker, heating and hot water system throughout, master bedroom with king sized bed, second bedroom with two single beds, main living area with sofa-bed, TV, DVD and full sized bathroom. And an especial guest house for 2 persons, The Aplendre is an existing structure, formerly intended to storehouse and break oven, which has been converted into a cosy dwelling; housing a kitchen capable of catering for up to four people, a generous living area with a sofa-bed, as well as a full sized bathroom [including a hot-tub] and a bedroom with a king-sized bed.
