Vacation Rental Description
Three stonebuilt houses named “Lobita”, “Salón “and “Piladero”, in a single construction that can communicate with each other thus extending the tourist offer. Each one of the houses consists of an entrance hall, living room-dining room with chimney and TV, a fully fitted kitchen, two double bedrooms and bathroom. They are in perfect condition with central heating and hot water, private garden, pool and barbecue.
To get to the houses which are isolated in the mountains you have to come along an earthen track of 4 kilometers.
Each house sleeps four people plus one more in a supplementary bed. The three houses can therefore sleep upto fifteen people.
One of the main highlights among the tourist attractions of the village of Valencia de Alcántara is the impressive megalithic standing stones, among the most important in Europe, currently consisting of 48 dolmens of different types in a good state of conservation.
Route 5. "Los Mellizos" (The Twins). This is located in the surroundings of the property The Mulberry, next to the Virgen de la Cabeza rural houses, and it can be visited on foot from the houses after a pleasant, well signposted walk. It is comprised of the dolmens of The Twins, the Datas I and II, and Cajirón I and II. The Route begins in Aceña de la Borrega, from the road next to the Church heading towards the hermitage of the Virgen de la Cabeza.
The three houses have the same characteristics, same layout and same dimensions. Between the three houses there are communicating doors allowing them to be linked up and thus reserved as one, two or three houses whilst still remaining completely independent. Each one of the houses has a living room-dining room with fireplace and TV, entrance hall, fully-equipped kitchen, a landing, two double rooms and a bathroom.
