La Casa de Guardas within the Casa Rural Valle de Mira, is like a jewel set in the beautiful Dehesa Extremenian, surrounded by large fincas and olive trees. Quality of life is all around you,nature, wildlife,flowers and silence,broken only by the sound of birds.The perfect place for those who love nature and look for the quality of life. A region famous for it's bird-watching,it's history,the wonderfully tasty food, it's people and for being very diferent from any other part of Spain. On the Farm we have animals,( well behaved animals naturally )we have Iberican pigs roaming the countryside, free as a bird, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks and a horse, fabulous for those who love animals, especially the kids.There are bikes, walks,volleyball, badminton,pingpong,archery,pool,barbacue and close by we've adventure activities and golf at 25 km. For the more tranquile type of person, we have petanque or French Boules. 
You must not miss out on Lou's SHIATSU, a sensational Japanese therapy that leaves you as new, whether you're young or old, this is for you. Our ecological farm insures the most healthiest of food, and our chicken eggs are non-cholesterol! 
The decoration of the rooms and the farm has all been done with great taste, and in a countrified style,comfortable beds with their own bathrooms. Your good night's sleep, is important to us. 
Close to Olivenza, Badajoz, Merida, Caceres, Zafra, Trujillo, 20 mins to Portugal, two hours from Seville, Lisbon and the beach. Historia and diversion together! Extremadura, land of the Conquistadores,full of centuries of history, castles, typical 'pueblos', cheeses,'jamon de bellota',( the famous ham fom Extremadura), amazing wines, great folk. The quality of life we all look for and our policy here in Valle de Mira is that our clients feel at home from the beginning up to the end, and many don't want to leave!

We have 2500m2 of garden with deck chairs, and 30 hectars of land to wander.There is a barbecue for the outside chefs, ice we have on the farm or we buy-in. No problem. All the rooms have a cooling system in the heat and heating in the cold and some with chimneys. We can baby-sit in various languages, and for those that have pets, we welcome pets. There is a bus service at the end of the drive.Great restaurants, economic and not so economic, but always tasty food, close by. We have internet acess or on the farm or in the 'pueblo'.

On the farm we have also volleyball, badminton ,pingpong, archery and the pool. For those who like kites or flying model aircraft, we have a site for you.For those who want a ride in light aircraft, we can arange for you at our local aerodrome, and for horse riding and golf, we go to Badajoz. Also for those who love photography we have our own photographic studio ( you bring the model).The wildlife park we have about an hour away in Portugal. The water park is in Badajoz about 24km, and the theme park in Seville about two hours away.
