3 Bedroom Villa in Tarragona Province

The Villa is very unusual, situated in the old quarter of Miravet and directly above the river Ebro and below the imposing Miravet Castle (Castell de Miravet), it has the most spectacular views from the two balconies. The villa "Can Canatoni" can easily accommodate a large family or up to 6 adults. A master bedroom with en-suite, is located on the 3rd level, above on the 4th level is an open plan Double room, also with en-suite, plus a third bedroom with 2 single beds, is on a lower floor with a shower room near by. The villa dates back to Arabic times, many features of that day along with artifacts remain, with some modern facilities, of course.

The location is very peaceful, with lots of places to sit and read or watch the world go by. Only 2 minutes walk through the narrow streets, will lead you to the river front bars in the main square, here you can relax with the locals. The Templer Castle at Miravet is the finest in europe, it towers above the village. 
 
Children should be of an age to appreciate the dangers of the high balconies overlooking the river at the villa. Also the old part of the villa has some low beamed ceilings, part of the charm.

Miravet makes an excellent base to explore the surrounding area with Barcelona just two hours by train and the historic cities of Tarragona and Reus less than 40 minutes away. Stay at the villa Can Canatoni (see Holiday Home) in the Old quarter of Miravet which has spectacular views from the balconies directly above the river. Miravet has a fine restaurant in the centre of the village and bar food is available, as well as the local, baker, fishmonger and general store. Travel a few kilometers to Mora de Ebro and you will find everything you need, including Banks and the local Hospital.
