It is the perfect base for great selection of activities. For mountains, the els Ports national park is a short drive away along with the beautiful river Ebro and it's delta. L'Ametlla de Mar has a selection of small private beaches and the cities of Tarragona and even barcelona are short (cheap) train rides away. If you are looking for a different form of activity then the Port Avetura theme park is only 30 minutes away.
