Vacation Rental Description

With spectacular forest hilltop location this villa has excellent facilities for the most tranquil or busy holiday. The private pool is a proper swimming pool not just a paddle pool. There is plenty of outdoor space as the villa is detached and surrounded by Mediterranean gardens. Two terraces provide sun bathing and out door dining although there is ample living and dining space in the luxurious open plan living area.

There is easy access for golf and walking or cycling and many holiday facilities are provided nearby. The nearest beach is only 5 minutes drive away. There are many medieval towns nearby such as Pals and Peratallada for those who fancy a bit of history. Girona city is only 45 minutes drive away.

Casa Millie is fully serviced for your stay including towels and linen (beach towels are not included). Swimming pool is cleaned twice during the week and the villa is cleaned throughout on arrival and departure. Extra cleaning and welcome packs are available on request.

The Costa Brava is one of Spains most well equipped holiday areas.Casa Millie is located away from the huge holiday resorts in more tranquil space but within easy access of all the facilities that you need. 5 major golf courses are nearby, Empuriabrava hosts some of the best watersports in Spain and fine dining can be found all over the area.

Nearest Airport : Girona at 50 kilometers distance;
Nearest Town : Pals at 3 kilometers distance
Travel Info: Casa Millie is located 50 and 100 km to Girona and Barcelona airports respectively. Car Rental is essential and is available readily at both airports. Railway stations are few and far between at present but a high speed rail link is being built from Girona to the French border. Other people drive to the villa either by ferrying to Bilbao or Santander and driving down the Spanish Pyrenees. Alternatively, ferrying to St Malo and driving through France and crossing the Pyrenees at Toulouse or Perpignan is an option.

We are a couple who also own the business of a small Inn in Salisbury England. This is close to Stonehenge, Avebury and Wilton. We bought our first property in 2005 in Berga in the Spanish Pyrenees and then moved to our current holiday home down in Girona. We hope you enjoy it!
