Casa Ventallo, also known as Can Xicu Menut, who was our grand-grandfather and who built this house with his own hands, has 3 floors.

In the basement there is a parking place for bicycles, as well as table-tennis and darts, plus a patio with a well and a barbecue.

In the first floor there is a big fully furnished kitchen with microwave, oven, frdge & freezer, dishwasher and a big table for 8 persons plus a fireplace for winter days. It overlooks a lovely terrace with garden furniture that has a beautiful view over the Pyrinees mountains and the Emporda green fields and shiny blue skies. On the other side of the house there is a big bathroom with shower, a sitting-room with TV-DVD and WIFI, as well as a library and 2 balconies that overlook the front street.
In the second floor there are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with bath and shower, as well as a small sitting-room with another fireplace, and heating (winter days), and a sofa-bed for 2 persons.

The second floor has amazing views to the village of Ventallo and the sea, as Costa Brava's beaches are at barely 10km away, the nearest being in l'Escala, Spain.

Ventallo is in the Emporda region, where gastronomy and leisure walk hand in hand, therefore there are plenty of amazing restaurants with lovely food typical from Emporda.

There is the river Fluvia at only 1km, so people usually bathe there in case you don't want to go to the beach. Also water-skiing is possible besides kayak, horse-riding and gold in the nearby. There is also a small airport if you wish to take light fly lessons.

Golf and horse riding are a few km near. The area is excellent for walking through beautiful paths and forests, as well as mountain bike.
Beach is also close, we recommend Empuries Beach.
