Main Description
The apartment is brand new and consists of a main dining and living area with an open plan kitchen and a small terrace overlooking a quiet street. There is a small entrance hall which leads into two bedrooms: one with a double bed and access to a small back terrace and the other with two bunk beds. The bathroom has a shower and there is plenty of cupboard space. The sofa in the living area converts into a double bed. All the equipment in the apartment is new and includes large refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, full sized oven, 4 ring vitroceramic hob, washing machine and iron. All linen is provided. An enclosed parking space is available in the building.

The best feature of the apartment is its location: approximately 300 metres in two directions to a delightful set of crystal clear water coves to the south/east and the sandy beach of the port area to the north/east. The port area is full of restaurants, bars and shops and fresh fish stalls from the local fishing fleet. Llança also has a village area with its shady square dominated by the church, a weekly market and intersting shops. This is a popular holiday home area for the Catalans and in August it is humming, but the rest of the year it is a very quiet little spot.

Llançà is a delightful fishing port in the northern part of the Costa Brava, relatively unknown to tour operators and placed within the Cap de Creus Natural Park together with Cadaqués and Port de la Selva. The apartment is on the first floor of a brand new building, ideally located in a quiet street between 2 beach areas - one a series of typical Costa Brava coves and the other, the wider sandy beach of the port area; all an easy walk away. Llançà has its own fishing fleet as well as a yachting harbour and the port area is full of excellent restaurants, bars, shops and outdoor market stalls. August is busy but the rest of the year is quiet. You can get to Llançà by train which also gives access to Barcelona, Gerona and neighbouring Figueres, but if you do have a car there are plenty of interesting places to visit both in Spain and France.
