These 2 designer apartments are next door to the other and are composed of a double bedroom fitted in natural rustic style and with air conditioning, a large kitchen fully fitted with all mod cons, like dishwasher, washingmachine, microwave or a kettle, a bathroom benefiting from full modernisation with a heated towel rail and en suite bath, a spacious living room (formerly 2 rooms) divided into 2 areas - the dining area with capacity for up to 4 people and the lounge area, with 2 large sofas (1 of them a double sofa bed) and a balcony overlooking a tree lined cobbled street.
Its best advantage, though, is its location, as it is only a 5-10 min walk from most of the city's tourist sights and attractions. Thus, in 5 min walk you find the Gothic Quarter, the Cathedral, the modernist Palace of Music, the monument of Arc de Triomf, the biggest park in town with the zoo within ( Ciutadella Park), the 2 oldest food markets, Picasso Museum, 2 metro lines and train direct to the airport. In 10 min walk you find the beach ( Barceloneta), Port, the 2 main shopping streets and the main avenue ( Ramblas). It is located in the trendiest area in town, Born. The area of Born is the most " in" area in town right now, thanks to its many innovative restaurants, cute art galleries, designer shops with the latest trends, nice relaxing terraces and squares and many lively pubs. Also, many of the city's museums, like Picasso's, are located in this area.
The apartment, though, manages to scape the noise and hassle as the street is only a residential street.
Alao, the apartment offers many shopping possibilities and for food shops, you find a wide range in a 5 minute walk ( 2 supermarkets, the neighbourhood's market and several convenience stores, plus a 24 hour supermarket).
Public transportation is also very well provied. Thus, the main bus station in town is a 10 minutes walk, in 5 minutes walk you find the train taking you directly to the airport ( Estacio de Franca) and 2 underground stops from 2 different lines are within 5 minutes walk as well, in further 5 minutes you find 3 more underground stops.
For children, nearby there are also different of the best options in town like the Aquarium, the most important parc in the city with the Zoo within, and the beach. All this is in 5- 10 minutes walk from the apartment

Travel Info: It is very close to both the Barcelona airport and the Port. To the airport you take a cab and it takes 25 minutes, whereas by train is 33 minutes to the apartment and by bus 30 minutes to the closest stop and then a 10 minutes walk to the apartment. The Port is some 15 minutes walk from the apartment. The main bus station in town is also a 10 minute walk from the apartment ( " Estacio del nord").
