'Sunset View' apartment has 2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms & is furnished to a very high standard; it is truly a cut above some of the other holiday rental accommodation available in the area. The Living/Dining area & both Bedrooms are all fitted with insect screens, ceiling fans & lights. The veranda with accompanying furniture enjoys sun throughout the day & evening & has stunning panoramic sea views over La Gomera. Attention to detail has been achieved making this a true 'Home from Home' experience. Located opposite the San Francisco Sports & Beach Club - the club owners allows renters the use of the gardens, swimming pool & manmade beach at a discounted price. It has the advantage of a local supermarket & 2 very good restaurants, 1 Bar which serves excellent barbecue food - all within walking distance. Off road parking is available & utility bills are included in the rental price. NO SMOKING is allowed within the confines of the apartment - ashtrays are provided for use on the veranda.  
 
 
The apartment has recently been furnished to a very high standard.  
It is on the middle floor and is very accessible and safe for both children and the elderly.  
There are 30 Apartments on the Santa Barbara complex which is on the Residential Urbanisation of San Francisco, 2 kms outside Los Gigantes.  
The apartment veranda faces the San Francisco Sports and Beach Club tennis courts and has a modesty blind fitted for privacy plus a drop down attached to the overhead sun blind which has stabilisers fitted. When used it makes the veranda into an additional room. The apartment veranda enjoys sun throughout the day and evening and has stunning panoramic sea views over La Gomera.  
The apartment has (@ June '09) had a drinking water system installed which alleviates the need to purchase spring water from the local supermarket. Also, (@ Nov '09) a 37 inch flat screen TV showing BBC1, BBC2, ITV and C4 has been installed for client use. 
Living Room: 
Elegant Lounge, very spacious & comfortable. It has a Beige 2 and 3 seater leather suite & an oblong glass coffee table. Sideboard & matching TV stand - 37" flat screen TV: BBC1, BBC2, ITV & C4, plus a DVD player with a large selection of DVDs available. 
Kitchen:  
Fully fitted kitchen with full sized oven/hob plus extractor fan and is equipped with all cutlery, crockery, pots and pans, electric kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge/freezer. It has a window and enjoys sea views. The extending dining table has 4 chairs. 
Bedrooms: 
Bedroom 1 - King sized bed, side cabinets, 5 door storage area, 2 double wardrobes with a middle 4 shelved cupboard. A 'safe' is also available. En-suite. 
Bedroom 2 - 2 x 3ft beds, middle cabinet and storage layout; as per the main bedroom. 
Bathrooms: 
En-suite to Bedroom 1 with bath / shower over, glass screen fitted and W.C.  
Bathroom 2 with double walk-in shower.  
Both bathrooms have built-in storage / mirrored units. Quality bathroom, sun bed towels and hairdryer(s) supplied for clients use. 
Cleaning/towels/linen: Bath, sun bed, tea towels and 2 sets of bedlinen, for each bed, are included and changed weekly. The apartment (internally and externally) is cleaned weekly, at a time convenient to the client.  
 
Accessibility: 
The apartment has no stairs internally. From the secure front entrance gate there are 14 stairs to a landing area (i.e 2 apartment entrances) then 9 stairs to a small landing then a further 9 stairs to the holiday apartment entrance.

  • Outside: The apartment veranda with accompanying furniture (round table, 4 chairs plus 2 relaxers and cushions) enjoys sun throughout the day and evening. 2 sun beds and accompanying cushions are also provided. The veranda has a built-in cupboard which houses the front-loading washing machine. Clothes dryer, pegs, iron and ironing board are supplied. The Santa Barbara apartment block consists of 30 apartments and is a wonderful place to relax and wind down during your holiday. Both of the apartment bedrooms enjoy views of the Santa Barbara private gardens to the rear of the apartment block. The apartment is located opposite the San Francisco Sports & Beach Club. There is off-road parking opposite the apartment.It is located only a few minutes from all the amenities of the Village of Los Gigantes, Puerto Santiago and Playa Arena ~ which all have excellent beaches. Coast/Beach 
    Los Gigantes & Playa de la Arena 'blue flag' black sand beach a 5 min drive/15 min walk away.  
    There are lots of good quality Cafes/Restaurants available around both beach areas which serve lunch-time snacks, drinks 'and' evening meals. 
     
    Golf 
    Numerous golf courses on Tenerife, nearest is Abama (10 minutes drive). Other golf courses within the locality are Adeje (20 minutes drive) Golf Del Sur (35 minutes drive).  
    NB: 1 set of Golf Clubs and carry bag available (Ben Sayers irons (graphite shafts), Big Bertha driver and an Odyssey putter) are available for use by clients 'at no extra charge'. 
     
    Travel 
    TFS airport is about a 35 min away. Varied and interesting areas of the island to visit - hire car recommended. There is now a new road open from the San Francisco Urbanisation roundabout; which allows easy 'walking' access to the Village of Los Gigantes, Puerto Santiago, El Varadero and Playa Arena.

    Rental periods March 2010 - March 2011 £325 for 1 Bedroom usage per week £425 for 2 Bedroom usage per week Short-term lets: Prices include weekly cleaning. Discounted Long-lets (3 months +): £1,000 per calendar month. The apartment owner provides the tenant with quality bath/sun bed/tea towels 'plus' 2 sets of bedlinen for each bed, during the tenancy. Apartment cleaning becomes the responsibility of the tenant for long-lets. NB: Apartment and veranda cleaning will, 'when requested', be completed by the owner during long-lets, at a cost of £30 per clean. Changeover day Flexible. Booking notes: Following client contact regarding booking reservations, the owner will issue a booking confirmation e-mail/letter/fax when a £100 non-returnable deposit, per week, is paid into her U.K. Account by bank transfer. The residual sum due should be paid, again by bank transfer, at least 4 weeks prior to arrival date.
