[See testimonials on our own website].We have two studio apartments in the garden of our 200 year old Canarian cottage,in village centre. 
situated about 22 km ssw of the island's capital Santa Cruz and 19 km east of Puerto de la Cruz.  
Whatever you need from your holiday, relax and unwind, sports and walking or a base to explore the magnificent and varied scenery of the island, Casa Flora and El Sauzal can provide it for you. Casa Flora is a rural 200 year old house that has two self contained apartments in the garden. As its name suggests Casa Flora has a well stocked garden with exotic flowers and plants. It also has a nice patio and a roof terrace with great views of the coast and the Orotava Valley dominated by the majestic Teide, a 3718 meter high volcano. 
Beaches and a vast swimming pool complex are all nearby.  
One of the largest national parks in Spain, the Parque Nacional del Teide, spread around a 16 kilometre diameter volcanic crater (Las Cañades) offers stunning landscapes, walking, riding, cycling.  
There are many other interesting sites on the island as well as good restaurants where you can enjoy the local specialties.  
El Sauzal has a wine and honey museum, a theatre, sports and culture centres, several restaurants and bars.We have two well appointed studios - the Garden Apartment and the Loft Apartment - for rent in El Sauzal, a charming village on the beautiful north coast of Tenerife,

Each of the two apartments are self contained and each has its own entrance from the garden and consists of a studio apartment with integral kitchen and a separate shower room. They have beautiful views of the sub tropical garden from both windows and has their own private patio with sun awning, and table and chairs. There is a storage cupboard with a clothes hanging area. The sleeping area has a double bed, which can be made up into two singles if required.There is a sofa bed which can be made up into an extra single bed. The kitchen is equipped with a dresser, fridge, two hot plates, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, and juicer. The living area has a chest of drawers, a storage unit, television and a wide selection of DVD's, a two seat sofa, coffee table and a safe. There is use of a laundry with a washing machine, an iron and ironing board and a drying area if required.

El Sauzal is a picturesque village on the green north coast of Tenerife. The village has a theatre, a cultural centre with internet access,sports centre, parks, an art gallery, wine and honey museum, brewery,a unique 16th century church with a lively 'plaza' square. There is a small daily market and a supermarket, several shops, banks, bars, restaurants, bodegas. Tenerife has an excellent transport system. Car hire is readily available. There are several interesting beaches close by, Santa Cruz and Puerto de la Cruz have large salt water swimming pool complexes with sun bathing areas. Within the grounds of Casa Flora there is a barbecue area, a large sunbathing terrace, seating corners to hide away with a book and a drink. 
Two Danish bird watchers who stayed at Casa Flora recently spotted the following species of birds in the garden,Common Kestral,Rock Dove/Feral Pigeon,Eurasian Collared Dove,African Blue Tit,Canary Island Chiffchaff,Blackcap,Eurasian Blackbird and a Spanish Sparrow.
