Vacation Rental Description
Villa Las Dunas is a luxury guesthouse offering bed and breakfast. Breakfast is served on the large terrace overlooking the sea.It consists of 4 twin bedded rooms, all with en-suite bathroom with shower.
Two of the rooms have beautiful sea views and large balcony with furniture to sit out and watch the sunsets. The other two rooms have spectacular mountain views and a smaller 'juliet' type balcony, these rooms can fit an extra guest bed or cot.
All rooms are equipped with a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a microwave available to use in the guest area and a barbeque on the terrace.
The entrance to the rooms is private. Bed linen and towels are provided and changed weekly.
A welcome pack awaits you on your arrival.
There is adequate parking and storage for sporting equipment at no extra charge.
The heated pool is accessible by just a few steps and is good to swim all year round and is an ideal place to relax and top up your tan, there are sunbeds around the spacious pool area.
The heated pool is shared amongst a few villas but is never crowded, it has roman type steps leading into the shallow end.
Villa Las Dunas is an enviromently friendly hotel, the electricity to heat the water is provided by solar panels on the roof.
Villa Las Dunas is situated on the outskirts of El Medano, it is a very peaceful location yet only a short walking distance from the village of El Medano.
There are many beaches in El Medano, which are amongst the best in Tenerife. One of the beaches is only 200 metres away.
The village of El Medano is a short walk away, there you can find numerous bars and restaurants to suit everybody.
There is a good bus service which runs regularly from the centre of El Medano to anywhere on the island.
El Medano is popular with many sports enthusiasts, windsurfing and kitesurfing is very popular here and also many other sporting activities are enjoyed in this area.
The nearest golf course is 15 minutes drive away.
Transfer to and from Teneife South is provided free if required.
Facilities
There is adequate parking and free storage for any sports equipment. The shared heated pool is never crowded and sunbeds are provided around the spacious pool area. Each room is equipped with a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. A full breakfast is served on the terrace overlooking the ocean. A welcome pack awaits your arrival. Linen and towels are provided. From your own entrance marble steps lead up to the rooms.
Activities
The Loro Parque in the North of the island is a wonderful place to visit, the new Siam Water Park is less than 30 minutes drive away. There are other zoos and water parks all within a 30 minute drive.
Water sports such as windsurfing, kitesurfing etc are very popular in El Medano and equipment can be hired locally.
Cycling is also popular and these can be hired locally also bike tours can be arranged.
For other water sport rentals, jet-skis etc, Las Americas is just a 20 minute drive away. Fishing trips can also be arranged.
El Medano is a haven for many different adventure sports, as we are sports enthusiasts ourselves we can recommend the best people to see for any type of sport activities.
El Medano is very child friendly and you will find numerous childrens playgrounds around the village and often find over the weekends or fiesta times, merry-go-rounds and trampolines for the little ones.

The rooms are charged at €325 per week for two people including full breakfast. A small charge is applicable for a 3rd bed or cot. . Please enquire for daily prices and longer stays. We accept €100 deposit for each room which can be paid by bank transfer or by paypal. The deposit is non-refundable. Collection from the airport is also offered free of charge. The whole villa can be booked on a self catering basis by special arrangement.
