In 1993 a german hotelier bought the finca which had been uninhabited for over 20 years. The former wine and banana plantation was refurbished to the original canarian style within eight years time, elaborately, with love in detail and empathy for the subject.
A solid high wall surrounding the premises in the southern, western, and northern direction guarantees peace and tranquillity for our guests. The eastern boundary is set by a 12 meter deep accessible barranco (canyon) which is a natural reserve area.
Gardens and terraces of the Finca Constanza are leafy with fruit trees, and ornamental plants, tropic vegetation, blossoming flowers and green meadows.
Re-establishment of the original canarian mansion and side buildings in its original style and painstaking general planning resulted in a multitude of cosy corners and locations inviting you to relax and ease off.
There are many sunny and shady terraces, sunbathing areas and moony benches just waiting for you within this park of peacefulness...
RESIDENCES ON THE FINCA CONSTANZA:
Situated 400 yards away from all main roads in tranquil and quiet surroundings we are able to provide for our guests the environment necessary for true stress relief and relaxation. The paved access road ends at the Finca Constanza so there is no through traffic. At this location no construction site will disrupt the silence.
The mansion and side buildings with pool and the natural reserve valley “Barranco” are now situated amongst Mexican pepper trees, blossoming bushes and lush meadows.
The complete premises with its more than 8000 square meters has only 6 accommodation units. The mansion, two bungalows, two apartments, the wintergarden and a guest room.

SEMINARS AND TRAINING
Aside from the housing area lie the seminar areas with extraordinary ambience. Protected from sight and sound of others in a “Barranco = canyon” embedded and protected as a natural reserve area. 12 meters lower than the surroundings, old caves in lava stone which may have already served the native “Guanche” as homes are now transformed into spaces of tranquillity and meditation.
Since restoration has been finished the idiosyncratic barranco has become more and more frequented with seminar groups up to 30 persons. Lava stone energy fields, the special silence inside the caves, the biochemical processes in the stones and their interaction with the human being, all this make the Barranco a very special place for meditative seminars of all types.
