'Casa Amanecer' (House Of The Rising Sun). Enjoy the superb quality of Lanzarote light and air at this luxurious new 3 bedroom 2 bathroom villa, which is situated in a lovely residential area of Playa Blanca, virtually equidistant from the village centre, the New Marina and from Dorada Beach. It is built in the traditional Lanzarote Finca style, designed for outdoor life, featuring a very large, south facing patio and garden, with its own electrically heated, 7 x 3 metre pool. There is a safe + burglar alarm. The garden is well stocked with tropical plants. On the large split level patio there are six sunbeds, a large garden table + 6 chairs and a Barbeque.
The kitchen is fully fitted with high quality units.
3 rooms lead from the kitchen: 1. Utility room with a washing machine and drying area, 2. The lounge which contains two sofas, a rustic wall unit and flat screen TV + satellite TV, DVD and Hi Fi. 3. The dining room accessed via an archway, containing a teak table and chairs.
The master bedroom, lounge and dining room all open onto the patio via double doors.
Casa Amanecer is situated in a lovely residential area in a quiet location with wonderful views of the mountains
'El Rubicon'. These are particularly magnificent in the evenings as they catch the late sun of the day...making our patio a magnificent setting for an early evening drink and barbeque.The patio is well sheltered on windy days. The villa is a 15 minute stroll from Dorada beach, a lovely protected golden sandy beach. The village is a 20 minute stroll away from as is the New Marina.There is a magnificent 4 mile coastal path offering wonderful views of Lobos and Fuerteventura. This extends 2 miles either side of the pretty village centre, which itself contains many local shops and restaurants. There is a harbour close to the centre from which the ferry runs to Fuerteventura.To the other side is a magnificent marina surrounded by new boutiques and restaurants.There are 3 golden beaches in Playa Blanca, and the famous Papagayo beaches are a 10 minute drive away.
There are many excellent RESTAURANTS in the village, many with sea views. Alternatively it is worth a trip out into the villages to experience some of the restaurants used by the locals. These are very friendly and offer excellent food at very low prices. All of the hotels in Playa Blanca welcome non residents to use their SPORTS FACILITIES and bars Visitors are charged the same rate as the residents. It is worth strolling around some of the hotels especially the Princess Yaiza (at the back of Dorada Beach) and the Volcan Hotel, behind the new marina. They are extremely impressive 5 star hotels both inside and around the pools and grounds. There are many excellent supermarkets some with resident butchers. There are also cash and carrys at Playa Honda close to the airport. There are several DIVE CENTRES on the island, the one thought to be the best, offering on site changing rooms, is at nearby Puerto Calero.
CAR HIRE is not essential but we would say it is advisable. It makes shopping easy, especially as you have to buy drinking water, which is heavy to carry. It also adds flexibility to your holiday. There is so much to see and do, just a short journey away. We have been visiting Playa Blanca since 1988, and have always hired a car from the airport. By the time the cases arrive on the carousel we have our car keys. The journey is easy, it saves standing in taxi queues and is extremely cheap. It takes us 20 minutes to reach the villa from the airport. We prebook the car on the internet and can usually get a Seat Ibiza 5 door for £80-£90/wk. We will be happy to advise on car hire and any other aspects of your holiday. TWO FAMILY HOLIDAYS: We now know several people who own villas close to ours and are happy to let them. I am happy to ring them and check on their availability if you are interested.

Activities
There is a pitch and put course very close to Dorada Beach. There is a water park in Costa Teguise (30 mins drive).
For surfers there is a lot of this mainly on the north west coast on Famara Beach.

Prices are based on 4 people sharing. There will be a surcharge of £50 per week for peak periods other than Christmas and New year which will be £100 per week. At all times there will be a higher rental for additional occupancy of £50, for 5 or 6 sharing (same extra rental cost whether it is for 5 or 6 people). Maximum occupancy 6 people. Changeover day flexible where possible, except for peak periods when it is usually Thursday. Part weeks also considered i.e. 10/11 day holidays. The pool doesn't generally need heating from May to the end of October. During winter months the pool will be heated on request to 27 degrees C, and the cost for this will be £50 per week. There is a £100 deposit for each week booked, with the balance payable 8 weeks prior to departure. LATE DEAL REDUCTIONS POSSIBLE WITHIN 1/52 of departure.
