Villa Mar is a gorgeous villa located at the start of a side street just off Avenida de las Playas (the main street/promenade of Peurto del Carmen) so enjoys a premiun location less than a minutes walk from the vast array of shops, restaurants, cafes and all the other amenities Peurto del Carmen has to offer.The villa is bungalow style and completely on the flat making it suitable for all including the elderly, disabled and small children. It is situated in a highly sought after private complex of individually owned properties and both the adult and children's pools are heated to accomodate year round swimming and relaxation. Villa Mar has an enviable position within the complex as whilst it is not overlooked by any other property it enoys direct views of the heated swimming pools and the stunning landscaped gardens.
The villa comfortably accomodates 6 people. The main bedroom has a superkingsize bed which can be seperated into 2 singles if required, bedside lockers and large wardrobe. A 3rd bed if required can be accomodated also. This master bedroom has an ensuite showerroom with an extra large shower which has a pull down shower seat and grab rails. The second bedroom has 3 single beds, bedside lockers and large fitted wardrobe. Each bedroom has a hairdryer. The main bathroom has sink, bidet, toilet and bath with grab rail. The lounge has cosy 3 seater and 2 seater sofas, coffee tables, tv, dvd, stereo system. The TV has the following English channels BBC1, BBC2, UTV, CHANNEL 4, EUROSPORTS and SKY MOVIES and there are a wide selection of dvds and books for our guests to enjoy. The kitchen has a full size fridge freezer and oven, 4 ring hob and grill, washing machine, ironing board and iron, radio, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, electic juicer, steamer and fully stocked with all the utensils you will need and a host of extras like sewing kit, first aid kit etc. There are large ceiling fans in all the rooms at the villa in order to maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the villa in even the hottest weather.
The villa is a real 'home from home' with all the comforts you will need for a relaxing holiday in the sun. The villa has 2 large terraces which share the sun thoughout the day. Both terraces have shaded areas for dining al fresco or barbequeing. There is a choice of 3 outdoor dining tables and ample chairs if you would prefer to have a drink or to dine in the sun. There are 2 sunloungers on each terrace for sunbathing or just some quiet resting time.
The villa's central location means that the 2 main beaches are within a 10 minute walk either direction. There is a lovely quiter beach located at the end of our road (only a 1 minute walk) where also our nearest supermarket is located. This Spar is the largest supermarket in the resort and has it's own bakery, delicatessan and meat counter where you will get anything you will need during your stay. You will be spoilt for choice with the lovely restaurants, shops and cafes close to the villa.
The new Peurto del Carmen Golf Club is a 5 minute drive whilst the Coste Teguise Golf is a 15 minute drive. The Airport is approximately a 7 minutes drive. Car hire is not required for your stay at the villa but if you wish to see this beautiful island special discounted car hire rates have been arranged for guests of our complex with a leading local car hire firm (for example 30 Euros per day or 150 per week for an Opel Astra with 2 people driving). You can pick up your hire car at the airport and/or drop back to the airport at no extra cost.
Facilities
Satellite T.V has 6 British channels BBC1. BBC2, UTV. CHANNEL 4, EUROSPORTS and SKY MOVIES The adults and kiddies pools are both heated for year round swimming.
Activities
You will never be short of things to see or do in Lanzarote as you can see from the activities list. The Tourist Office is a 10 minute walk from the villa and will be able to provide you with information on all these activities.

Rental price is based on 2 people sharing. Each additional person is an extra £35 to £50 per week. Villa Mar has a Thursday changeover day. Other day arrivels/departures will be subject to surcharge (please ask owner). Check in time is 3pm and check out time is 11am to facilitate same day changeover. Deposit is £200 per week booked. Payment is by cheque. No credit cards accepted. Payment in Euros are calculated at a rate of an additional 15% to allow for the conversion rate i.e the £360 off peak rate is 415 Euros.
