Casa La Luz is in a get away from it all location yet close to all necessary amenities. There are restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance and you can also get freshly baked bread. Or the people who are looking for a bit of peace and tranquillity then La Luz is for you. If are looking for that (just chill out holiday) then this is for you. For those who want to visit Playa Blanca centre and do some sightseeing then you will have plenty in store. Lanzarote boasts some of the best sightseeing around with some very nice historical places to visit. Cycling is becoming very popular on the island and cycle hire is close at hand. You may choose to relax around the heated pool with a good book or a nice long cool drink. There is also the alfresco dining area. The dining area is closed apart from the open end where the BBQ is situated for convenience. A new hot tub is coming to Casa la Luz at the beginning of may so you can sit back and relax with a glass of bubbly.

Delightful south facing open fronted dining area with a large marble table and ample seating. This is a nice area for those evenings where you just want to have a bite and a drink alfresco. Private heated pool, comfortable sun loungers, built in BBQ and covered eating area as well as a small table and chairs on the terrace. There is a poolside shower and attractive established gardens. There is private parking to the front of the property. There is a key safe next to the front door for your convenience. There are two golf courses on Lanzarote both within a short drive. One is at Costa Teguise which is about a 40 minute drive and the second is intias which is about a 25 minute drive. There is actually a third under construction which will be within walking distance of the villa. We will update the site accordingly.

Faro Park has its own local shops and restaurants to hand. These are within a very short walking distance from the villa. They are reasonably priced and the food is good. A 15 minute coastal walk or a five minute drive will bring you in to the heart of Playa Blanca where you will find everything you need such as banks and shops/supermarkets and travel agents where you can get ample literature on places of interest. They have a market in Playa Blanca on Wednesday and Friday which is well worth a trip.

The master bedroom and lounge has vaulted ceilings. There is a safe and a wall mounted hairdryer in both bathrooms. We would like to ask our guests politely to refrain from smoking in the villa for the courtesy of the following guests. Welcome pack provided including a bottle of wine. There is a small selection of DVDs, games and books.

Coast/Beach
A 3 minute walk from the villa will bring you to the fabulous sight of crashing white waves over the rocks. There are many rock pools. A 7 minute coastal walk will bring you to a sandy beech. The nearest large white sandy (family friendly) beach is a five minute drive to Playa Flamingo. The Papagayo beaches which are within 15 minutes drive and are safe sandy beaches so there is plenty of opportunity for swimming and diving as well as snorkelling.

Travel Options

Travel Info: Nothing is too far on Lanzarote. There is a ferry service in Playa Blanca for those who wish to travel to Fuerteventura.Timanfaya National Park is approximately a 15 minute drive. Puerto Calero Marina and Puerto del Carmen are both about a steady 25 minute drive. Arrecife is approximately 40km.Teguise and Costa Teguise is about the 48km according to whatever direction you take. To cover the whole island from north to south would only take about one hour. Playa Blanca port is about a 10 minutes drive where you can get the ferry to Fuerteventura. Arrecife airport is about 30km. There are ample car hire companies close to hand and we will supply the telephone numbers for you. We do recommend that you have a car as one of the best parts of a Lanzarote visit is the sightseeing but, if you would like to go to the villa and just veg out for a few days before hiring a car we can arrange pick-up and drop off at the airport if required.

For each additional person please add an extra £55 per person. Please note that there is no charge for children under the age of 5. We do very good discounts for long Winter lets.
Changeover day is usually on a Thursday but, some flexibility can be accommodated subject to availability. Check-in time is 2pm and checkout time is 10am. These times can be flexible depending on our bookings.
There is a booking deposit of 40% this is non-refundable in the case of cancellation. If there are 2 months or less to the start of your holiday payment must be made in full along with a £100 damage liability bond which will be refunded upon your return. If there are more than 8 weeks to the start of the holiday then a payment of the 40% deposit must be made. The balance of the payment and the £100 damage liability bond must be paid no later than 8 weeks from the start of your holiday. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING ABOUT THE PRICE IS EVERYTHING IS INCLUDED!!!!!!
