Villa Mayo is situated on the quiet Faro Park development that is perfect for couples and families and provides the privacy and freedom that is not often obtained from the usual busy complexes and is just a short stroll from the Atlantic Ocean. There are several restaurants, bars and shops close by. Playa Blanca is a beautiful resort that has retained its original charm and sleepy atmosphere. At the southernmost tip of Lanzarote, it was once a small fishing village. It is now a flourishing but tranquil resort with beautiful beaches bordered by a picturesque promenade lined with international restaurants.

Adjoining the fully fitted kitchen is a covered pergola seating area which provides welcome shade for alfresco dining along with a purpose built BBQ. The large sun terrace is fully equipped with sun loungers, patio table and chairs and your own 8x4m electrically heated swimming pool. The large garden is enclosed by a volcanic rock wall.

Living Rooms: The comfortable and spacious fully equipped lounge has satellite TV, DVD player and music centre. Patio doors lead to a large South facing terrace.
Other: From the kitchen there is a large alfresco dining area open at one end where you can sit and relax and enjoy a BBQ as the sun goes down.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: Towels (not beach towels) and bed linen are supplied and changed weekly. The villa is cleaned weekly by a management company who maintain the villa to a very high standard. The swimming pool is also professionally cleaned regularly.
* Parking is close to the front door of the villa and the large entrance hall makes the property easily accessible.
Activities
There is an interesting market every Wednesday and Saturday morning at the Marina which is well worth a visit. The unspoilt tiny village of El Golfo is just a short drive away where there are excellent fish Restaurants lining the shore. Highly recommended. Some other places of interest are: Jameos del Agua. Mirador del Rio. This unique lookout point is located in the north of the Island and is 479m above sea level. El Grifo Wine Museum. The Cactus Gardens which is one of Cesar Manrique's last works. The Cesar Manrique Foundation where you can see for yourself some of the Islands culture.
Travel Options
- Travel Info: Arrecife airport is approx 35km from Playa Blanca. Although there are shops and restaurants within walking distance of the villa we do recommend that you hire a car to make the most of our beautiful Island. There is a bus service into the town centre that runs every 30 minutes just a 2 minute walk from the villa.
