Blue Marlin is on two floors and situated on a very quiet residential complex that is on the outskirts of Playa Blanca it has a private driveway and a pretty living/dining room with satellite TV, DVD player radio/CD player and seating for 5 - there are two sets of double doors leading to the private electrically heated pool that measures 7 metres x 5 metres and is 1.2 metres deep making it ideal for both those who can and cannot swim, there is a circular end with integral steps perfect for little ones to sit or paddle, it is set in a landscaped garden surrounded by 7' high walls, making it private and secluded, with BBQ area, sun beds and table/chairs for those lovely alfresco meals. Going from the living/dining area you will find a separate kitchen equipped to the very highest standard, fridge/freezer/ electric hob, oven, microwave, coffee maker, washing machine, iron/ironing board, all that you need to cook for a group of 6, a door from the kitchen leads out to the BBQ and a second door leads to the 'solana' or drying area. There is a full bathroom downstairs, then going upstairs you will find a master bedroom with two balconies - one overlooks the front landscaped garden the second looks over the private pool, it has a very comfortable king size bed, fitted wardrobes, a security safe and hair dryer, the second bedroom has two single beds, fitted wardrobes and a balcony overlooking the front garden, a full bathroom separates the two bedrooms and two large floor standing fans are provided. In addition to the private heated pool there is also an unheated community pool just two minutes from the villa, a bus stop is very close to the complex and also a taxi rank and small supermarket can be found within a 5 minute walk.

The villa has a private electrically heated pool and there is also an unheated community pool opposite to the villa Floor standing fans are provided for the warmer nights and electric heaters for the chillier evenings! All linen is provided except for beach towels, linen is changed on a weekly basis. The pool is cleaned twice weekly.

The villa is situated within a 5 minute drive from the centre of Playa Blanca, where you will find a perfect location for families and couples, there are a wide selection of shops, bars and restaurants within a pedestrianised area flanked by a promenade that runs along the coastline for several miles. There are a few beaches to choose from all with lovely white sand and safe bathing areas, it is possible to hire bicycles and fishing equipment - I provide details of everything you need to know to thoroughly enjoy your holiday.
At the harbour area you can catch the ferry to Fuerteventura. stand on the rocks and spend a day fishing or hire boats for trips around the island.
A gym can be found at a nearby hotel with temporary membership for the duration of your stay. Scuba diving facilities are within a 5 minute drive.

Hi Sue,

Sorry I haven't got round to emailing before, but back at work last monday and it's been none stop ever since!

Just to say we had a fantastic time in the villa - it really is lovely and we would have no hesitation in recommending it to friends or returning again ourselves, maybe next time with family - perhaps book two villas.

The pool was brilliant - so lovely to dip into warm water whenever we wanted.

Thanks so much - the villa was very well looked after and maintained and we had no problems whatsoever. Really liked Playa Blanca as well - def a resort we would want to return to.

Hi Sue

I just wanted to write to you to thank you so much for allowing us the privilege of staying in Jara Villa in Lanzarote. We had a lovely week and everything was there for us to feel right at home. Shaun and his wife had made sure everything was spotless for our arrival. And the weather was the icing on the cake!! It was lovely to be able to sit out at the pool on a morning with a coffee and just enjoy the sunshine. We all loved the pool and we were sad to leave yesterday. I'm sure we'll be back for another visit and we will definitely recommend you.

Daniel also did an excellent job with the car hire.
