Vacation Rental Description
Villa Ganesh is a Home away from Home, surrounded on two sides by garden space. It is close to the port, the city centre and shopping area. It has a large heated swimming pool and pool-side party place with barbecue and 6-seater dinning table. Sun loungers adorn the pool-side for your comfort. The pool-side sitting room is multi-purpose (sleeping-cum-sitting) and great for get-togethers. Villa Ganesh is a perfect place for relaxation as well as for fun and enjoyment. Villa Ganesh is spacious home, with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. All the three bathrooms are with modern fittings and big bath tubs. One bathroom even has a hydro massager with a radio. Two bathrooms are ensuite. Fully fitted kitchen includes an owen, a microwave, a toaster, coffee maker, dish washer and a ceramic stove. It also has a huge fridge to store and cool all your drinks. The laundry room is separate. There is outdoor shower room near the pool. The outdoor is brightly lit up and to add colour and spark to your evening, the plants have been illuminated with multi-coloured lights to make this villa look inviting from the inside out! The villa has a secured parking for two cars. The main gate to the complex opens with a remote control.
The climate is temperate all year around, although it is not far from Africa, there is no Saharan heat - the north east trade wind and the Canary stream, a cool ocean current, make for a pleasant temperature. What a bliss, to let the sun caress your skin, feel the wind stroking you, as you plunge into the clear, silky waters. Extensive golden sandy beaches strech right next to the coast road and can be reached on foot.
Lanzarote consist of a volcanic Pillar that rose up out of the sea around 16 million years ago, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote are the oldest in Canary Islands. During the eruption of 1730-36 and 1824, thirteen villages and their fields were buried under metres of lava as it rolled on out to the sea, today this part of island is called Monata a del Fuego (fire mountain) and it is protected as the Timanfaya National Park. Playa Blanca's days as a dreamy fishing village are long gone. It is now one of the island's three tourist centres and mainly consists of neat bungalows (villas) with lovingly tended front gardens surrounding the original village.
The sea front promenade has a large selection of shops, cafes and restaurants with everything from hamburgers and Italian ice creams to Chinese food. There are more shopping streets and Centro Commercailes inviting you to browse and window shop. There are night clubs and discos for the night birds. You can go to the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura by car ferries from the Limones Harbour, which is close to Villa Ganesh.
If you like walking, try a walk on the Montaña Roja, which is very close to Villa Ganesh and which has an easy footpath leading up to the top, where there is a panoramic view to reward you for the effort of making the climb. Another walk is to the Castillo del Aguila, a circular fort that was built as a protection against pirates in the 18th century. Between Playa Blanca and the Castillo del Aguila there are also the ruins of the first fort and the first church, dedicated to Saint Marcial.
You can go swimming from the sandy beach below the promenade, in front of Hotel Princessa and also at the nearby Papagayo beaches, with their fine sands streching along seven spacious bays. Besides, there are other beautiful beaches like Playa Matagorda, Playa de los Pocillos (in Puerto Carmen), Playa Bastian, Playa de las Cucharas, Playa de Famara, Playa de Janubia and Playa de Reducto (Arrecife).
Extensive golden sandy beaches, a lunar landscape of unearthly beauty, luxury developments, fine restaurents with international cuisine, vineyards and volcanoes, this is Lanzarote - an experience of a life time!

Lanzarote is a volcanic island and today it is one of the most attractive holiday resorts. The ground rises towards the centre of the island, so you can see the sea almost wherever you go. The scenery changes rapidly within a relatively small area: the Papagayo beaches to the east of Playa Blanca, the Rubicon plain in the south, the petrified rocks of the Fire Mountains, black beaches and lava hollowed out by huge waves on the west coast, the vineyards of La Geria with its geometrical pattern of craters, green vines on black picon, the Bay of Famara with its heavy breakers against the backdrop of the rock face, the Jable (sand dunes), the adjacent islet of Graciosa, Haria - the Valley of Thousand Palms. There are striking colour contrasts - white houses, black and red volcanic ash (picon), ochre soil, flowering bougainvillea, hibiscus and geraniums, and above it all a sky that is almost always blue. This is the magical Lanzarote!!

The African coast (Morocco) is about 100 km away, the highest point is on the island is on the Famara massif (671m) the highest volcano is Monte Corona (609m)in the north. The light colour of caldera Blanca (white crator)is striking; its crator is around 300m in diametre.
