Villa Indira is located in the Red Mountain area (Montaña Roja in Spanish). This villa has a fantastic view of mountains and the blue sea between Lanzarote and Fuerteventura (island), and is at a height of about 200m, so at night you can see all the lights of Playa Blanca.
Villa Indira is a home away from home. It is spacious, with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It has a large heated swimming pool with sun loungers, poolside party place with barbecue and a 4-seater dinning table.It is a perfect place for relaxation and fun. All the 3 bathrooms are with modern fittings and 2 are with jacuzi bath tubs. It has a fully fitted kitchen with an owen, a microwave, a toaster, coffee maker, dish washer, washing machine and a ceramic stove. It also has a big fridge to store and cool all your drinks. There is a rock garden in front and back, and parking for 3 cars in the driveway.
Playa Blanca is one of Lanzarote's three tourist centres and mainly consists of neat bungalows (villas) with lovingly tended front gardens and well planned roads with palm trees on both sides and with flowering bushes in the dividers in the middle. It extends from the beautiful beaches at Papagayo in the east through to the lighthouse at Faro de Pechiguera in the west. To the east of the centre is the neighbouring beach of Playa Dorada and to the west Playa Flamingo. With all these three bays united by a sea front promenade that runs from one end of the resort to the other. You can go swimming to these sandy beaches below the promenade.
Lanzarote is a volcanic island and today it is one of the most attractive holiday resorts. The ground rises towards the centre of the island, so you can see the sea almost wherever you go. The scenery changes rapidly within a relatively small area: the Papagayo beaches to the east of Playa Blanca, the Rubicon plain in the south, the petrified rock of the fire mountains, black beaches and lava hollowed out by the waves on the west coast, the wine yards of La Geria with its geometrical pattern of craters, green vines on black picon, the bay of famara with its heavy breakers against the backdrop of the rock face, the jable (sand dunes), the adjacent islet of Graciosa. Haria:
the Valley of thousand palms. There are striking colour contrasts: white houses with green, light blue or dark brown door and window frames, black and red volcanic ash (picon), ochre soil, flowering bougainvillea, hibiscus and geraniums, and above it all a sky that is almost blue. There are still no advertising hoardings clamouring for attention along the road, the single-storey buildings allow you a clear view of the sea and the sky, and the cables are laid underground, so there are no hanging wires to cutup the sky.
From north to south, Lanzarote measure 62 km, from east to west 21 km. The African coast (Morocco) is about 120 km away, the highest point on the island is on the Famara massif (671 m) the highest volcano is Monte Corona (609 m)in the north. The light colour of Caldera Blanca (white crater) is striking; its crater is around 300 m in diametre.
The climate is temperate all year around, although it is not far from Africa, there is no Saharan heat - the north east trade wind and the Canary stream, a cool ocean current, make for pleasant temperatures.

Cars can be picked up by you at Lanzarote airport and can be dropped there at no extra cost.
