Distances
Arrieta is well placed in the North to visit attractions such as the Guinate Tropical Park. Jameos del Agua, Cueves de las Verdes, Mirador del Rio and the Cactus Garden. You can also drive up to Orzola and catch the ferry to the incredible neighbouring island of La Graciosa (like visiting the Old Wild West with sand streets!) The inland town of Haria set in the Valley of a Thousand Palms with its' Craft Market on Saturday mornings. All of these attractions can be reached within 10-15 minutes.
Places of interest are many all over the island but no-one should come to Lanzarote without going to see the volcanoes in Timanfaya National Park. There is also a dive school located in Arrieta just further along the street from 'El Tu y Mar'. Water sports are all well catered for in the area and is a perfect location for walking, cycling and mountain biking.
