Vacation Rental Description
Situated on a quiet pedestrian lane in the old part of the village, but only a five minute walk to the beach, shops and restaurants, Apartamentos Bellavista Gomera provides the perfect combination of a peaceful setting whilst being close to all amenities. Although well equipped and tastefully furnished throughout, it is the large terrace that makes it really special. Relax on the rocking chairs taking in the beautiful sea view, or sunbathe on the sun lounger, or enjoy a meal at the table in the shady part of the terrace. Light and airy inside, it is equ[pped with double bed, TV, free internet access, fitted kitchen and bathroom. Also available is a communal washing machine, lending library, hairdryer and DVD player. 
 
The building has a Reception area where you can book boat and bicycle trips, car rental, scuba diving, and find out about all the island's activities including information about the vast network of walks. The only golf course on the island (18 hole) is a 15 minute walk away. 
 
Playa Santiago is a small fishing village where visitors and locals mix happily in the cafes and bars. It is known to have the sunniest and warmest climate on La Gomera and has a relaxed almost Caribbean feel. Join in the village life for the 'paseo' in the early evening when people stroll down to the plaza or walk to the harbour to see the latest catch of bonito. The local ferry arrives here from Tenerife, San Sebastian and Valle Gran Rey.
