At the north west tip of Fuerteventura is the old fishing village of El Cotillo where time to a large extent seems to have stood still. The bars, restaurants and shops reflecting the tastes and characteristics of the locals while offering some of the most idyllic beaches on the Island 
 
One mile north of El Cotillo village, lays small group of privately owned one and two bedroom apartments in a truly idyllic secluded location on the edge of beautiful blue tidal lagoons. Just a few steps through a small sun drenched garden of tropical flowers is the silvery white beach and warm crystal clear water. 
 
El Caleton should appeal to the holiday maker looking for that truly relaxing break away from the crowds, stress and noise of the larger holiday resort, in favor of sun, sea, sand and total relaxation.

    • El Caleton is a stand alone small group of privately owned 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, set in a secluded location on the edge of an idyllic blue tidal lagoon. The complex is designed over two floors, in keeping with traditional Fuerteventurian design. Accommodation consists of both one and two bedroom apartments, which incorporate an open plan lounge and dining area, in addition to a kitchen and shower room. The ground floor apartments have a private terrace area with easy access to the silvery white beach, while the first floor apartments have breathing views of the lagoon and beyond. Apartment No, 3 enjoys a rooftop terrace, and while not suitable for children more than compensates for this with views of breath taking sunsets.

    • Swimming, diving, wind surfing and kite sufing.Fishing available in Corralejo just a 15 minute drive from El Cotillo Bicycles and surf boards can be hired locally. There is a water park in Corralejo, and the market in Corralejo is open every Monday and Friday from 9am to 1.30 pm. If you like golf you can play in Caltea de Fuste which is a 40 minute drive from El Cotillo 
    There are numerous local restaurents in the Town of El Cotillo which is about 1Km from El Caleton. 
    There is a new Supermarket opened earlier this year. Giving you a greater choice of food available.
