The apartment is of the duplex design with an open plan living area & 2 bedrooms upstairs.  
All usual facilities are available in the apartment including a new modern kitchen consisting of oven, cooker, large fridge freezer, washing machine and microwave. Ample storage and utilities are available. 
 
2 X bedrooms catering comfortably for 4 adults: 
1 double bed with spacious floor to ceiling mirrored wardrobes. 
2 sigles beds also with floor to ceiling wardrobe. A 3rd child can be catered for by using the pull out inflatable bed.  
The upstairs bathroom contains a bath, shower, toilet, sink and bidet. 
 
The main living area is open plan and consists of tiled floor leading past the dining table and chairs and into the main sitting area. Here there is 2 settee's, TV and DVD player and portable CD player.  
A set of patio doors opens onto a small balcony where a clothes line for drying beach wear can be found. 
The main patio area has a table and chairs and caters for 4-5 people respectively. It is found on the main access into the premises.  
 
Complex: 
Antigua Bay is a privately owned, residential complex approx 5 minutes by car/bus from the busy resort of Caleta. 
The complex has 2 well maintained swimming pools (adult and children) & sunloungers around its perimeter. 
The apartment is less than one minute walk from 3 complex bar/restaurants, pizza house,chinese take-away, supermarket, 'bits & pieces' etc all located on site. The complex was completed on 2006 and its gardens are developing respectively (see photos). The apartment also has its own parking area. 
 
We recommend car rental to allow you to visit some of the stunning beaches that are within reasonable distance from the apartment's centrally located position on the island. Details of car hire facilities can be provided if required. 
 
If you prefer to stay local a 'euro' bus service into Caleta runs on a regular basis from the Elba hotel, or you can walk the coastal path and feed the thousand's of chipmunks along the way! 
 
The "Year round island" - get away from the horrible British (European) winter for a piece of quiet, tranquil relaxation! Dont be put off using the apartment in February e.g. as the average temperature is still a respectable 22 degree C. 
 
Airport transfers can be arranged at 10 euros each way if required. 
 
In summary: 
 
Good price, lovely apartment, excellent complex, stunning island. 
Fuerteventura has the longest (whitest) beaches in the Canary archipelago. The island benefits from over 330 days of sunshine per year with average temperatures of between 20-30 degrees all the year round. The sea temperature also remains constant at 19-23 degrees.

By day, caleta offers the usual activities including diving, jet skiing, windsurfing, boat trips, fishing etc all operate from the harbour area, By night - plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants and hotels open to non-residents. 
 
Also located in Caleta is the main island's championship golf course which catered for the 2004 Spanish open. This is approx 3 km from the Antigua Bay complex. 
 
Caleta Commercial Centre for designer shops, bars and facilities. 
 
Daily transfers to sister island Lanzarote take place from Corralejo harbour. 
 
Also in 2009 Fuerteventura was named a UNESCO biosphere reserve which protects the islands eco system and marine reserve. Lobos Island nature reserve is an inhabited nature reserve well worth a visit.

Payment can be made by personal or bank cheque. The equivelant value at time of euros also by cheque or direct bank transfer. bank details can be provided for the latter. There is a cleaning charge of 40 euros payable to the cleaner who lives on the complex, on the day of departure. This covers preparing the apartment for your arrival and then the removal and washing of all linen, towels, dishes left and a general deep clean of the apartment.
