Caleta is a lovely, clean, well-maintained, family orientated resort. There is a fantastic horse-shoe shaped bay and beach, and a few smaller, sheltered beaches, great for kids, nice shallow water and sandy walk into sea. There are loads of cafes, play-areas, restaurants to all tastes and family bars with nightly enetrtainment. There is a marina area with various activites including a submarine ride, catamaran trip, scuba centre and a surf centre. There is also a roacky coatline walk with chipmunks to feed and plenty of coves and areas for the fishermen out there. Caleta has it's own shopping centre with a large EuroSpar selling everything you could need for a self-catering holiday at very reasonable prices. There si also a regular bus service to the capital, Puerto del Rosario, which as a masive shopping mall, the Rotunda, plus lots of smaller tradional bars and shops.
