Vacation Rental Description
New property finished in 2009 to the highest of standards. The villa is set in it's own gardens overlooking pine groves leading to the sea. There are two terraces, a roof terrace and a patio area. The covered patio area has a patio table and chairs, whilst the roof terrace provides secluded sun bathing and shower area. Access to the communal pool and other shared facilities including a children's play area and bar is a 150m walk away. 
 
The villa is one of approx 40 houses in a development all having access to the large free-form communal pool and clubhouse. The pool has sunken sun loungers, a jacuzzi, separate children’s pool and outside showers. The clubhouse offers guests a hot tub and jacuzzi inside and light refreshments. There is also a children’s play area with swings, rockers and a climbing frame with slide. 
 
On the ground floor there is a sitting room with triple bed settee, dining area, separate fully fitted kitchen, twin bedroom with its own bathroom with walk in shower, basin and toilet, There is also a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The first floor houses the double bedroom with it’s own bathroom with shower bath, double sinks, bidet and toilet. On this floor there is also a southeast facing sun terrace with parasol and sun-loungers. The downstairs covered terrace has a six-person patio table and chairs to allow you to make the most of alfresco living. 
 
Bath towels and bed linen are included and will be changed weekly. The property will also be cleaned weekly. Guests are required to bring their own pool and beach towels. If you require extra cleaning or linen and towel change mid stay, please enquire. 
 
Each room has it's own air-conditioning unit. The property is suitable for children, cots and high chairs are available at an additional cost on request. The villa was new in 2009 and superbly finished to a very high standard. Sorry, no pets and no smoking please. 
 
Although the accommodation is spread over two floors with no special disabled facilities, there is one bedroom and bathroom downstairs which should prove accessible to most people. All floors are tiled and the doors are wide enough for wheel chair access. 
 
Cala Murada is located in the region of Calas de Majorca on the east coast of the island. This east coast consists of numerous coves and sandy beaches the closest of which is Cala Murada a 10 minute walk away. The beach shelves gently into the sea, sun beds and shades are available to hire on a daily basis, a life guard is on duty during high season and there is also a beach front restaurant offering snacks, meals and drinks. 
 
Cala Murada is only a 50 minute (44 miles) car journey from the international airport in Palma. It is recommended that you hire a car to allow you to make the most of your holiday but with all major car hire companies in the airport car hire couldn't be easier.   • In the utility room there is a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, and ironing board. The owners will ensure a food hamper is available on arrival including bread, ham, cheese, selection of fruit, bottled water, wine and beer. There is a charcoal BBQ in the garden with all the necessary tools.

  • From the villa you are in the ideal location to explore the east of the Island, with the famous Caves of Drach in Porto Cristo a 15 minute drive north, from where is is also easy to reach the stunning natural bays of Pollensa and Alcudia. To the south you will find the Coves of Cala D'Or each one providing guests with beautiful beaches gently shelving into aquamarine seas. 
     
     
    There are are 18 golf courses in Majorca the closest being Vall d'Or. The Vall d'Or golf course is an 18 hole 5,539m par 71, and is one of the most welcoming clubs in Majorca. The standard 18 Hole Green-fee is €89 with various discounts available. Also on the east side of the island you will find the the 18 hole par 72 (6263m) course of Pula.The 18 hole par 73 (6040m) course of Canyamel. And the 18 hole par 71 (5890m) course of Capdepera. All within 30 minutes drive. Ask owner about pre-booked tee-times at all the islands golf courses many at discounted rates.

    A deposit of 25% is payable on booking with the remaining balance plus a returnable security deposit of £150 due 8 week prior to departure. The security deposit will be returned when the owners have received confirmation from the maintenance company that the villa has been left in a good state of repair and that excessive cleaning was not required. Mid stay linen change and clean are available to all guests at an additional charge - please enquire with owners. Cots and high chairs are available for our smaller guests for at a small additional fee - approx 10 Euros. Payment can either be by direct bank transfer or cheque in GBP.

    All of us 2009 Sally's Project!

    We bought our 2nd home in 2009 and offer it you for your holiday. My project is not a business, it is a family home and rentals assist us to pay the mortgage.

    We have holidayed in Majorca for many years and never run out of new things to see and do. The children love the relaxed way of life where they are made to feel welcome in any restaurant, bar, beach or attraction. Martin and I love the warmer climate and the get away from mundane life, and the fact that it is only 8 hours door to door - home to home.

    One of our particular favourite trips has been on the Orange Train from Palma to Soller, then a tram to Porto Soller and finally a boat trip to Sa Colobra. It is a long day out but well worth planning in advance for an early start.

    The children (and Martin) love the Aqua parks around Palma. The best one for children of our age is Aqualand in S'Arenal, with the Western Water Park being more suitable for children of a younger age as it has more pools available to them and has the added attraction of side shows - its more like a theme park.

    We make a habit of finding a different beach each day, and with so many tiny coves on the east coast it is not difficult to find a new one each day in a two week holiday.

    The stunning Caves of Drach are only a 15 minute drive North, and our children enjoyed them even at a young age.

    Another well worth it trip is a visit to the Mallorcan market in Sineu. Held on a Wednesday it is a traditional market in the village around the streets of the local church. Everything can be found there from a local craftsmen selling their wares to livestock, fake 'designer' goods and local delicacies.
