Vacation Rental Description
Situated at the end of a quiet, residential cul-de-sac, Casa del Verano, with its private pool and enclosed, Mediterranean-style gadens offers privacy and seclusion to the discerning holidaymaker. Suitable for couples and families alike, it is a short walk to the picturesque harbour, local shops and restaurants, diving school and tennis court. It is within easy driving distance of numerous safe, sandy beaches and the golf course. Internet access is available locally. The villa has a large lounge/dining room which is comfortably furnished with sofa, armchairs, coffee table, display units,dining table and chairs. Numerous books and games are available for use during your stay. An open fire provides warmth in the cooler months. Doors from the lounge open onto a covered dining terrace with just one small step to the pool terrace and garden areas, making the ground floor and garden easily accessible for the elderly and infirm.
The exceptionally well equipped kitchen has marble work surfaces and a door from the kitchen leads to a side terrace with outside laundry area, shower and tiled dining table and benches.
The master bedroom on the ground floor has an en-suite bathroom and doors leading to the pool terrace. There is a 2nd wc/shower room on the ground floor. The 2 upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom. The bedrooms open onto terraces with views of open countryside. All bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes providing ample storage space and air conditioning/warm air heating. A cot is available and will fit comfortably into any of these rooms.
Outside the extremely private swimming pool benefits from the sun all day and high walls ensure the pool is not overlooked. There is a tiled sink and barbecue area and gates lead to gardens surrounding the house. An outside staircase leads to a roof terrace with views over pine trees to the sea and harbour.
The secluded, enclosed rear garden has a flowerbed and trees offering some shade and a further dining terrace with teak table and chairs. This area is suitable for young children as gates can be closed between the garden and pool area if required.
The house is fully prepared for your arrival. All linen and bath towels are provided and changed as part of the weekly maid service. Beach towels are not provided.
The pool is cleaned and maintained during your stay and our english speaking management company are on hand to deal with any problems that may arise.

Activities
Much of the North Coast is a marine park and diving in the area is superb. There are excellent dive centres in Addaia and Fornells suitable for all levels of ability. Windsurfing is another popular local sport. Spring and Autumn are popular for walking holidays with an abundance of colourful wild flowers and bird life. Facilities for horseriding, tennis, cycling, windsurfing, golf and dinghy sailing are within easy reach and there are several yacht and boat charter companies on the island. There are many archaeological and historical attractions easily accessible. A short drive into the port of Mahon with a wide selection of eating places overlooking the harbour provides comprehensive and banking facilities and the restaurants in Fornells and Es Castell should not be missed. No attraction in Menorca is more than about 50 minutes by car.

20% deposit (non-refundable) payable at the time of booking, the balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure or at the time of booking if less than 8 weeks before departure. £200 breakage/damage deposit payable with balance, refunded on return subject to confirmation from managing agents. Payment in British Pounds We will be happy to discuss discounts for early bookings, periods greater than 2 weeks and smaller parties, low season lets and late availability. Returning guests receive a discount.
